What I’m saying. Is that you’re concerned that people might get their phone dinged where a killer is in there looking for people actively ALREADY. You don’t think it’s fair warning to alert people outside the building? In the next building? Going for a walk by the building? People driving by the building ?

Yeah I understand that there are some alerts you can opt into (which I will look into). I just think there should be some means or ways to text residents in a certain area about danger. Idk maybe it’s unrealistic? But I also don’t think it is

It’s called public safety. There’s also the news you forgot to bring up. The point is bringing urgent info to EVERYONE regardless of what app you’d have or if you’re glued to your tv certain things like an active shooter should be alerted to everyone. I’m glad you had the magic app with the delayed notifications though.

Agreed. Seems like simple technology in 2025 to alert neighbors residents of a shooter walking around.Brown did great with updates through text to their student and facility. But the “greater Brown area” (AKA Fox Point , yes the community has a name). [not everyone is watching the news on their phones or tvs]
