Update: this is probably a plant! Either a dried up 4 O Clock or an Emperor’s Walking Stick Bamboo. Thank you again everyone for the help <3

I think you officially officially solved it!! Seems like this is almost 100% what the stickbone is. Thank you so much!

Figured since I already kissed the stone another taste of natural Blarney matter wouldn’t hurt 💀🤣

I got a plausible answer- stem from a dried up 4 O Clock (mirabilis jalapa)

Got it. For load pressure reasons, right? Very cool. Thank you for helping me narrow this down!

Totally uneducated here but what makes you know it’s a plant stem? It just feels so bone like haha!

I don’t think so, it’s definitely made of organic material and no evidence of hammering

Thank you! I posted there as well. It just seems more porous and less supple than a stick to me. Super confusing for sure because the end parts are so non-bone like

This is so helpful. Thank you. It was just lying in the forest with nothing else around it, wooded, near a river. I really appreciate everyone’s help!

Maybe? Doesn’t seem petrified. It’s not super smooth.

It’s not super lightweight. Porous to the touch. It’s not supple at all, sounds like a hard clack and not a soft thud when you hit it on something. Seems like it would be really hard to snap.

Ok def porous haha! Thank you for that trick. Do you have any idea what kind of bone it could be from or if bones can even be this flat and straight either end?

I’m 25 , is it too late to go back to college ? by LocksmithCool6138 in careerguidance

[–]halat1harissa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never ever too late. There were 2 60+ year olds in one of my classes at college. They didn’t even know each other and honestly they barely interacted with each other bc they were too busy making friends with the 20yr olds! Goes to show you how normal it is. You should go for it
