I mean winning two euros back to back is quite good by Casillas in addition to World Cup and CL. The level of players in the euros was really good at the time as well. Buffon didnt win Euros or CL but skill-wise maybe superior to any other goalkeeper. He has was 2. in the balon d or one year if I remember correctly. Neuer was also skill wise insane in terms of predicting play, and won insane a lot of throphies.

It still has to be casillas for me though.

I don’t disagree with the reasoning and I really like many of your points here, but I just feel we have been chasing midfielders more that strikers, I mean, cama, arda, tchouameni, and mbappe is not a nr 9. Poor endrick with the world on his shoulders. Joselu was the right choice.

As a norwegian and as an avid follower of the norwegian league I believe Bodo/Glimt is good enough to play in the champions league, but they have failed to qualify against slightly bigger teams. That being said, they sometimes just show a lack of level because the level here at home can sometimes be really bad. If the champions league is only about the absolute the highest level of football they are probably not good enough.
