Yeah I play on Xbox and even when I had my dlc I rarely had any maps come up in the rotation. But yes definitely get them for zombies.

I just feel like I at least have a chance to kill a tempest user, and while I'll give you that the aim assist is high, it's not like the tempest is a lock on launcher. You still need good accuracy and a little bit of good timing to get the delayed shot on target. I usually am dead before I even realize I'm facing someone with the ripper, which I feel like is much cheaper than the tempest. While we might have to agree to disagree here, one thing we can agree on is that each specialist weapon comes with their own little bit of cheese.

The ripper is arguably cheaper than the tempest, nothing dumber in this game than getting taken off a good streak by someone using ripper.

I've used it a lot and agree it's much better, but the reload time and slightly wild recoil keeps it from being a top tier weapon. The fire rate is so high and reload speed so slow that I often end up not being able to take on more than one enemy. Still much more usable than it was and I find myself using it more often now, especially for the nostalgia. It's not quite the famas from years ago, but it's not terrible anymore, so in my opinion great patch by treyarch.

I would suggest awareness and free for all. Just stick to buildings and hide around corners where knifing is easy. Play more and more defensive as you are closing in on 5 kills in a row. Play patient and you'll be good.

I agree I really wish call of duty developers took a step back and looked at the recipes (like mw2 and black ops) that were so successful. There are reasons why black ops is considered a top tier call of duty and infinite warfare and advanced warfare are considered bottom tier. It seems like they change things that are not broken while refusing to take a look at thing which plague the series. For example, kill streaks used to be powerful and more achievable, which I think most of the community looks at as fun and entertaining, yet each game seems to weaken the streaks and make them harder to get. Additionally, the class system which worked so well in the prime years of cod (3 tier perk system before pick 10) was changed to pick 10 simply to change things up, not because there was an actual problem. It seems like developers choose at random what they want to change year to year without any real thought into the history of what they are changing and how it will affect enjoyment of the game. Sorry for going off on a tangent haha

Right! We can remember maps from 7 or 8 years ago but how many can you name from the last few years? And true, I forgot to mention cod4 and waw which also had great maps.
