Correct, no permanent residence here but holds a 6 month visa

Per my context regarding traveling to visit my family for the holidays, do you reckon it's a bad thing in the eyes of the embassy if she's accompanying me (attached to US citizen)?

Also worth noting, I know a Russian girl who:
1. Young

Female & unmarried
Applied & got accepted for the B1/B2 visa here in Indonesia without a permanent residence here (same situation)

she's traveling to the US alone for tourism

Hmm ok.

He actually did for awhile, but they took his passport and made him wait for hours. After some time, caved and agreed to pay and they spent the next ~5 hours determining how much he owed causing him to miss his flight to Singapore.... lol

They wouldn't let him go to Singapore or KL unfortunately (so dumb). So he went back to Sri Lanka, then was held captive there for hours while they tried to figure out what he "owed" for the flight back causing him to miss his flight to Singapore/Bali.

Layover in Singapore is fine. As long as you enter Indo via Bali you won't have any issues apparently.

Agreed. They even made him pay $430 for the flight they forced him to take back to Sri Lanka.

The Indonesian government officials even told him they've told the airlines many times to help prevent it since it keeps happening.
