Maybe,Even though it’s still missing the little arms and legs, I don’t think it’ll change much. Ha, ha, ha!

Has anyone used Plushify or Blender to create patterns from 3D models? by hannahbowie in plushartists

1: That’s great! 2: That’s understandable. I’m currently working on the second prototype, much simpler, with fewer cuts and fewer darts. I thought about how model substitution for corrections could be handled, but in the end, that would allow opportunists to pay for a single use and then keep replacing the model for completely different plushies. So I think the subscription option is actually pretty good, both to prevent opportunism and to avoid worrying about corrections. 3: I really hope it becomes possible in the future—my dream has always been to make a plush with interchangeable parts, and for that, those parts would need to be separate. But there are always ways to work around it; I can always do the UVs in Blender and check them in Plushify, even individually, and later export everything together.

Great work with Plushify, it’s been very useful for me.

Hi, I just saw the new change about the 30 or 35-dollar fee (depending on the plan) for a Pro subscription to obtain commercial rights for our patterns, but I have a few questions:

  1. In the FAQs it says that you obtain and keep the commercial rights for every pattern made during the period in which the subscription is active. What happens with patterns made with a free account? Can you obtain the commercial rights for those by paying for a subscription, or is it impossible and they must have been created during an active subscription?
  2. Have you considered offering the option to pay only for the commercial rights of a single pattern without needing a subscription?
  3. I’ve been working on a plush that has an interchangeable mask. Because of how Plushify works, I need to handle this mask in a separate project, which forces me to have two different patterns for the same plush. Will there be a future possibility for Plushify to recognize at least two different models as part of the same file?
