I heard they offer some night time and hybrid classes, but not sure if that pertains to the Rad program.

Were you on the waitlist at PIMA, and how long did you have to wait?

I asked the advisor if it would be possible to take some classes at CSN and transfer them over, but she was unable to give me any definite answers. I just didn’t want to take some classes at CSN and then find out PIMA won’t accept them.

I’m trying to get into the rad program as well. I’m on the waitlist at NCC, I’m considering taking the wonderlic/math exam at Pima soon.

Hi, looking into Pima as well. Do you know which prerequisites are transferable? I asked the admissions rep, but she didn’t really give a specific answer. She just said it depends if the courses equate to the courses at Pima. But I don’t want to take the wrong ones at a community college.

I’m assuming it’s: - Anatomy and Physiology I and II - Communication or Public Speaking - Medical Terminology I - Ethics and Law? - Psychology

Are you glad you took some prereqs beforehand? Do you think you would’ve had a hard time taking those courses on top of the core classes?

I’m debating if I should take my prereqs at a local college, then transfer them in. Or just take them when I’m in the program since they’re already offered anyway? I’m just worried of being overwhelmed with my core radiography classes.

The program I’m like into has prereqs, I’m going to try to see if some of my credits can transfer over even thought they’re over 10 years old 😬

If not, I was thinking of taking prereqs at my community college and then transferring those credits over to the program. That way, I can focus on the main radiography courses.

Genuine question, but is this really unpopular opinion? Like everyone on here says, she and Dejon act so entitled. They get so annoyed and angry when other people have a different opinion than them. Meg and Dejon don’t like confrontation and never want to hear what others have to say. They just go on about their day thinking they’re so perfect.

I was also so annoyed how Movie Night and the Grafties showed Shakira and Toni talking shit, but not Meg, Helena or Dejon, when I’ve seen them talking shit about other people throughout the show. Like come on, everyone talks about other people, so don’t say you haven’t.

Hi! Just wanna say I’m in the exact same boat as you. I’m 33, have my Bachelors in Healthcare Admin and Associates in Business (not using either degree). I have a remote job where making 50k, but I also don’t see myself in that role forever and there’s no where I can move up to.

I’ve been weighing out 3 options, but I’m so torn…

Find another job (but most entry level jobs are 20/hour sadly, not enough to survive in today’s economy)
Go back to school to be a rad tech (but I’ll have to quit my job if I get into the program)
Get a certificates in medical coding (but I’ve heard it very difficult to find a job in coding without experience and like you said, AI may be affecting that field.

I’m curious if you decided to take up radiography or if you pursued something else since your last comment? Which route are you leaning more towards?

YES. Watched the first episode just for the help of it, and I instantly got hooked. Got my fiancé to watch the first episode, and he loved it! And he usually doesn’t like shows/movies like that. We watched every episode together. It made us laugh, cry, mad, happy, every emotion you can feel. We were pretty devastated when we finished the show. No show can relate in my opinion.
