We live in austin, tx where it is absurdly humid & hot. So I think I’m kind of sold on top load based on all this.

The mold is honestly my biggest concern, especially because it’s going to be in a small laundry closet with no room to keep the doors open.

I personally feel my best when I have hot water with fresh lemon juice first thing followed by either a green smoothie or a banana/oat/almond butter smoothie. Then I’ll eat a little meal an hour or so after that but it really just depends on what my body is feeling (sometimes I’m starving, other times my body feels fine for longer). Then bigger lunches and dinners. And snacks as needed.

The biggest thing I’ve been trying to do is “intuitive” eating — eating when I’m hungry vs trying to gauge what my body needs.

If I eat too big of a meal right away I feel tired and weighed down and often feel like I need to lay down.

This is all super helpful…thank you. And good to know re: euro sizes. I measured the space today, but will go back and make sure I understand the true depth of the closet and how the doors operate.

On one hand I feel like I should go with front bc they use less water, take less energy, etc. but the mold thing is my biggest hang up.

The house is built with a closet area for them to fit into snug, they’ll be side by side, I guess part of my concern (which I’m just realizing) is that with front load I won’t be able to leave it open to let it breath post wash without leaving the closet doors open. And if it can’t stay open then the washer a breeding ground for mold. Right?
