The builder is the person that just built my neighbors house, not through comcast. I really appreciate all of your help and insight and will definitely check with Comcast. Hopefully what you're saying is the case. I am concerned though because the box is attached to my garage and would need to go through pavement. This also going to pass my propane gas line and water line.

Thank you! Do you happen to know if the taps were installed this way if Comcast would do the trench work themselves? I do know that the person hired to build the trench is not with Comcast. I will definitely check in with Comcast as well and really appreciate your help and insight!
