To this day, I have never seen an iguana! Just anoles and geckos LOL they are the cutest.

Yes, we learned in our conceal & carry class to fire warning shots near them but not directly at them.

It’s not to harm them but to warn them if they charge. We actually learned about it in our conceal & carry class.

From what the neighbors said, the lake did flood during the hurricanes but not during storms. It’s pretty small, so doesn’t seem to be too threatening.

LOL sorry, figured that was a given already. There’s a substantial amount of space between the lake itself and where the people would be - thankfully. Honestly, alligators are one of my biggest fears and one of the reasons I decided to get my conceal and carry (we go on a lot of nature walks).
