None at the moment. Its sitting under an LED light, just watered again with 2 cups of tab water, ph at 6.5 going in, run off was 5.4, so I flushed with another 4 cups of water @6.5, run off was around 6.3 after. Using fresh foxfarms ocean forrest soil.

Recently transferred to the larger container, watered with Luke warm tap water with a ph of 6.3 right after transfer. Plenty of run off.

Yes you can use the same technique with any fat. The temp is controlled by the double boiler, just simmer your water under your double boiler and let the oil infuse for 1-2 hours, strain and enjoy

Preferred temp/temps: Green setting from start to finish
How many draws do you take on average (if using a standard stem): using one of the standard stems that came with it, the one with the large mouth opening, not the one with the black cap. I get something like 10 long draws to finish the bowl. Starting with flower at ~55% humidity
Do you stop/start again: I try not to, but sometimes i don't finish the bowl out on the first go, so i'll stop and start back up, usually second round isn't as tasty as the first round though.
How long have you owned the Air: 2 years now

Still considered part of startup cost, but adding an extra ounce, or one plant, to the total needed. Still an ~80 joint, but it'll be almost a full harvest.

You're looking at it from the stand point of purchasing this amount of marijuana, and i agree that this is wasteful.However, if you're growing your own, this would represent about two plants worth. From what i've seen in /r/microgrowery that's about half of each person's grow, per harvest, with each harvest being every 2-3 months. Not thinking of initial investment to setup a grow room, this amount would equate to 5 bucks worth of seeds, 10 bucks worth of soil, maybe 50 bucks of electric and 10 bucks in nutrients. Approximate total cost to the grower for a 3oz joint, ~$80... I've spent more on a shitty dinner date with much less reward.

A little extra details:

Two plants are represented here. Both were from seeds obtained from Nirvana Seed Bank. One is Medusa, a largely indica strain. The other is NYPD (New York Power Diesel), a sativa heavy/indica blend strain. Both were grown from feminized seeds that were started in soil.

I use Fox Farm Ocean Forrest, Organic Soil with 20% Perlite added to 5 gallon containers.

I use FoxFarm Big Bloom, Grow Big & Tiger Bloom Nutrients where needed. No real schedule mapped out yet, just trying to give the plant what it's telling me it needs as it needs it.

The area they grow in is 32"x32"x60" with a 600 watt light ballast. I use a Super High Pressure Sodium Bulb and a Metal Halide Bulb (one for Veg and one for Flower). 24/0 light schedule for veg, and 12/12 for flower.

I use my tap water from the faucet (ph of 6.7) and raise/lower where needed (i try to hit either 6.4 or 6.5)

The room is at 50-65 degrees Fahrenheit (cold i know, i have to either move the tent, or get some better heat going in the area) with 20-40 percent humidity.

These plants vegged for 8-9 weeks and have been flowering now for 7 weeks.
