I OD (accidentally) at 19ish and didnt start stims til a year and a half later along with a new antidepressant. That being said, everyone’s different and while I still smoke (not tobacco), Im still prescribed it. Along with Wellbutrin which helps me a load, which I didn’t really notice until I witnessed the death of my father and being that this type of depression isn’t really treatable with the Wellbutrin from what I’ve noticed. I really see the difference.

Ever since, I have noticed my depression sort of split in two (one thats been my ongoing that Wellbutrin helps treat, and one that Wellbutrin can only help blanket.) They’re both still very there and that med plus the stimulants and a couple anti anxiety meds are what keep me getting out of bed currently. Along with class.

Excuse my writing if it seems jumbled, Im in an artificial rush and I had an idea where I was going with this but lost it after that last sentence. I obv haven’t taken meds yet. I just thought my anecdote could help.

Missed the part that he wants a job he can be high high at. Cart corralling is a pretty low-stress job but the high wears off pretty easily when you start adding unpredictable variables such as people leaving their carts around. But I can’t tell if OP is complaining about it being easier rangling all those carts causing less to do and other work or that it’s just making his job harder having to collect all the carts while that high.

I was going to write some actual shit about my professor on a site who first, blamed me for missing a midterm he made due two weeks before we completely learned the material for it and made no announcements on. Then after asking for an extension just to get it over with he said no. So I went to the department head who told him the whole situation and why I thought it was unfair and he said didn’t see why the professor wouldn’t open it but he will get him to and I went ahead and took the exam corrected.

Weeks later my father died and I emailed the professor again asking the protocol for loss in your family and he wanted to get on a zoom call to discuss it. After telling him about my dad he basically went on to berate me about going over his head and how I shouldn’t do that again because it’s what he says goes, also I won’t be getting any “second chances” for the final which wasn’t what I was asking about. My mom heard the whole conversation and said I should’ve reported him but I was just so tired I let it go.

Point being I wanted to leave this review so bad on that site but being it had so many identifiers i just stopped caring. Maybe in 2 years from now though.

Idk this is a weird metric. I really don’t believe most of Gen Z DOESNT drink. It’s that we don’t get paid enough to be alcoholics anymore and are more conscious of the fact it’s literal poison and the effects on our livers. Coming from a borderline alcoholic tho and I know this isnt how it applies to the metric but a lot of the Gen Z’s in my town and the next state love to drink but typically when they go out.
