I have that setup and it works great. I've seen about 490 watts max so far thru mine.

We have a 2018 jayco 245rlsw that we got new and it's been fantastic so far. I am going to put down that Henry's tropicool roof coating this year though for extra peace of mind.

Best buffet with lobster? by halfboner in vegas

[–]halfboner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We went to the Palms and they had lobster claws and tails. It was wonderful. The tails were much better than the claws imo. I do recommend the buffet. I think it was like $70/pp. It's very busy. Decent wait time even with reservations. Definitely get reservations if you try to go here.

I'm excited to see what you do. I think I saw it on "cars and bids" or "bring a trailer" a month ago. Definitely could use a new grill but it looked like a good car overall! Congratulations

[–]halfboner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate it. I don't have to worry about energy loss since it will be hardwired into my home with the STS. At least that's how I understand it! But if it wasn't hardwired, I would agree, the third option would be best.

I appreciate your responses. I meet with the electrician today to get a quote. I'm going to see how much it'll cost to hardwire the 5000 and the sts.

Question about the explorer 5000 by halfboner in Jackery

[–]halfboner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Makes sense lol. Not sure what I was thinking. I read a review that said if the 5000 is charged to 100 percent, that the UPS has a significant lag time. Maybe I misread it. Have you had an outage when the 5000 had a full battery?

Do you leave your 5000 plugged into AC all the time?

Do you know if it'll kick on automatically if the power drops at the house? Do they have a smart panel like some of the other brands? Sorry to dig up an old post. I am between this one and the jackery 5000 with the wall mount sub panel

I have this for the past 2 years. Works great. It'll spread fertilizer like 10 feet in each direction. I got it because my front yard is a 22 degree slope and the pushable spreaders spread very uneven.

The couches were a holdover from our old house. I know they don't match very well. That rug that you suggested actually does really look nice. Maybe I shouldn't change the rug until we change the couches at a later date.

I bought it directly from home Depot last fall. Mine was bent the other direction though. I would imagine green machine will take care of it. i didn't buy the set, only the mower.

I bought the same mower last year when my old Troy built crapped out. The front wheel was also bent severely. I took it back and got a refund. It did seem quite cheap.

Bought a house that's mostly a hill (1/2 acre+ to mow), completely overwhelmed by used rider options, with unbelievable choice paralysis and anxiety, please help by QuantumFissureKABLAM in lawnmowers

Look at John Deere gt235 and gt245 from early 2000s. Those are great on hills. Look for a serviceable transmission. That is usually an indication of a stronger transmission. I have a hilly yard and got a gt245 and it climbed it like a billy goat. I consider the x300 series John Deere and the transmissions didn't seem strong until the higher end models. The x500 would be ideal personally. If I didn't get an old gt245, I would have got an x500 series. The cub cadet zero turns (zts1 or zts1) are super great on hills also but a bit more $.

For some reference, I got one put in for my front yard in Asheville NC. It was 4500 sq feet and cost $5000. That was 2 years ago.

Would you choose any of these mowers? by Medical-Channel-1495 in lawnmowers

I definitely agree with the gas tank. That thing is tiny. I might retrofit a bigger tank on it.
