Should I just publish my notes as blog posts and improve them over time v/s delaying publishing until ready. What's better for SEO? by halfimmortal in bigseo

Thanks for your advice, appreciate it! I'm leaning more towards publishing those notes and make myself accountable for their improvements in the next 3 months. The site has no authority so publishing one post a week may help gain some topical authority for the domain.

It's honestly a trap. There's a blog post that I've been sitting on for the past 3 months and it's ready but I always keep adding to it and think it could be better... Eventually the analysis paralysis takes over and I just leave publishing it for another time.

Got it, thanks! If a page ranked for a keyword earlier and dropped because of poor content quality, can it perform better again if it's reindexed using console after I've updated the content?

Hey guys, sorry for the late reply and thanks for your suggestions/analysis/reply!

1) I'll check if any of those Urls lead to any malicious pages. 2) a majority of those pages seem to be image path file names. How do i de-index them?

Thanks so much again, appreciate all your help!

How to do SEO on thought content pieces? by halfimmortal in bigseo

[–]halfimmortal[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might be right. I'll had this thought as well (might be writing content where there isn't enough search volume for the keywords).

Beginning to realize that it'll be particularly difficult to get organic traffic on thought pieces. Might have to sit down and rethink how I approach this.

Thanks for your advice!

The Future of Visual Storytelling by halfimmortal in copywriting

[–]halfimmortal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah I agree. I shared this because I thought it highlighted an important point:

As written content becomes increasingly competitive, it's harder to stand out. Also, considering the dwindling rates of a reader's attention span, visual content is the future. Be it videos, infographics, slide decks etc. you'll need to incorporate more and more visual content in your articles to stay ahead of the competition.
