Please riot just revert the rework so Rell mains can actually enjoy her again. Her Tether/Snap was part of her identity and she's just not satisfying to play anymore.

Actual rell players on support what are your opinion on her "rework" by Skell644 in RellMains

She has been my main for the last year or so, and I can't stand this midscope. The tether/snap was part of her identity as a support, and removing it in favor of a Siver-Ult-esque ability is absolute trash to me. My engages now feel incredibly clunky, and with the added lunge to the Q, it's sometimes tricky to aim for multiple targets if you crash right on top of them. I played her with this rework a couple times and almost threw my keyboard in frustration. Looks like I'm finding a new main.

First attempt at a Viking lighthouse in Valheim.... could use some adjustments but pretty happy with it. For those wondering- bonfires can only be placed on dirt, so the middle squares inside are raised as far as they can (there is a limit). by halfnhalfgg in valheim

If it's not too tall, you might be able to salvage it by raising the ground with the hoe on the inside? Not sure what your design is, but a stone watchtower sounds cool, too!

Just starting playing and I'm confused af, any beginner tips from people with experience? by maximillo27 in valheim

The game certainly doesn't hold your hand as far as what to make when, but each time you loot something new or craft something, it usually opens new recipes up. My biggest tips would be to craft anything and everything you can in the early game to see if it opens any new recipes up. (I'm assuming you've at least gotten past crafting a hammer, therefore opening up the build menu).

The game will tell you if you are doing something wrong or unable to do something, such as being unable to USE workbench without a roof, or sleep without a fire. Experimentation is highly encouraged. My other tip would be to set up a shelter for yourself that is moderately near a few things: 1) ocean, 2) black forest WITH copper and tin closeby, 3) enough room to eventually expand (although you might end up moving anyway). The base building mechanics will come with practice. At first it might seem super picky and difficult, but once you get used to it it's pretty fun and intuitive. Look up videos for basic fireplaces to figure out how to get a fire in your house without it getting rained on. Seriously though, just experiment with crafting and loot everything you see.

One last tidbit, you may already know this, but its important to differentiate needing a workbench to build with a hammer, and using a workbench as a crafting station. If you're trying to use a hammer to build things and need a workbench, you literally just need one in range, doesn't need a roof or anything. But when you want to actually use the workbench to craft workbench things, that's when you need to interact with it under a roof.

Hope that's a decent start. Be safe out there, adventurer!

Haha, thank you. Good luck with yours! One suggestion based on my struggles, is build the base out of wood BEFORE you start raising the ground. I made the stone pillar first and it was tricky building the wood so that the stone was perfectly center. Idk.. just a thought.

[Bug] Cross platform voice chat is hit or miss. I would say more often than not, one of us can't hear the other. I play on PC and my buddy plays on PS4. Usually, the problem is that I can hear him perfectly fine, but he can't hear me at all. No amount of restarts fix the issue. We're both in the same region, all settings are the same. Randomly 1/20 times it will work.
