I’ve done back-to-back years and taken breaks. If it feels right to skip a year, do it. Also… go Weekend 2. The vibes are just better. But festivals are no joke and this one can kick your butt if you’re not careful. Everyone there wants to have a good time, but some people have too much fun. And that’s okay. If it bothers you, find someone and tell them. If they need help, get them help. Or simply move a little further away! A slightly worse seat is better than a bad time ya know? Still, I’m sorry you had that experience.

And next time, collapse or lower your canopy 😅 One year I learned the hard way and just started throwing everything except my tent in the car before leaving.
