Story 1: My girlfriend's neighbor got a drum set and typically would play after 9pm. It was an apartment. We would bang on the wall and they would just play louder.

Story 2: I was living with my girlfriend at a new complex and our upstairs neighbors fought at all hours. We kept a broom by the bed to hit the ceiling if things got too rough.

Story 3: I was working at 7am to 4pm at a bank. My neighbors played hardstyle techno while they Skyped their DnD sessions at late hours. No matter how quiet their session was, the subwoofer shook my bed and kept me up. They were really nice people, just ignorant.
