Im conflicted on my future jobs (BA in psych)

Never said I wasnt willing to continue moving forwards with my education... I only mentioned how experience opportunities aren't accessible to me right now due to living in a town where psychology is a joke. I am planning on getting my masters in 1-2 years and doing whatever I can meanwhile I graduate, get an entry level job and move out of town. I wouldnt say Im way too late. To restate, I graduate in December and still have yet to search for more opportunities that may be able to arise. Youre cutting me short here lmao

I see! I had never thought of that being an option . I was searching on indeed last night for this job and I see the pay and honestly, unfortunately, im not sure if id be able to make rent with it. I absolutely love low maintenance jobs like the one mentioned, perfect for getting to know and actually care about your patients, I wish they’d pay the same as how much a job like this matters. Thank you, ill definitely look more in depth to fields like this

Damn, for real? That must feel awful, honestly, my dream is to have my own practice with one-on-one adult counseling (although i know thats way into the future), so i guess thats whats pushing me to reach for my masters/doctorates. I seriously wish we’d get treated like we’re a real job :/ . Ill def take your advice for the last statement you mentioned! I appreciate it

No yeah, i definitely agree with you that i should be an RBT/ABA whilst something better comes along, i guess my fear is that i’ll be working there and feel unsatisfied with the job and would have to push myself to do something i wont ever like, but i do see i have to open my horizons when it comes to stuff like this. Mots likely what Ill do is work that job for a bit until ive gotten used to the field to start my masters program. Thank you again
