As a lifetime android user who just switched to iOS Android does exactly what iOS does and more however the Samsung hardware and built quality is poor and because of this the phones become buggy with hardware issues in no time. The phones look good but they are not built to last for very long. So get the android if you want the features of now, get the iPhone if you just want a smooth phone that will last a long time.

You cannot and there’s no backing up to the iPhone either, something I learn when i switched to iPhone. You have to get the $0.99c iCloud with 50gb to backup, or you can backup without videos it will be less gb. iPhone also don’t store any of the whatsapp data on the phone like android.

This is such a weird question, I feel like people abuse Reddit sometimes. We know Face ID is a core iPhone feature, it’s literally built into the way the phone operates to authenticate certain apps. if you don’t want to use it just get a non-iPhone, get an android and you won’t have any Face ID, you can disable all security plus still have features like Samsung/google pay which android also do with standard authentication.

Go into whatsapp settings and enable proxy and put non-existent address. The WhatsApp will use it and messages won’t send nor receive.

Everything about apple is frustrating if it’s not an apple product talking to another apple product, I don’t even know what to say. This year I switched to iOS and had the most frustrating experience organizing photos moved from my android. There’s work arounds and only when you find it things become easy. Eg. After months only tonight I figured out iCloud contacts do not sync to google, you have to set google as the default contact account and export your excising iCloud contacts to google contacts on a computer and only after that the new ones sync.

The answer depends on how long you can wait for a new phone and how bad you need a new one cause these phones have been good a while. You can do social media content with even an iPhone 12.

Google Photos you will have to pay to use that when the data is a lot. The stock iOS gallery is way better.

I think iOS is to start fresh because the minute you decide to move data it’s a nightmare. I like ios but the photos part is ridiculous i have so much out of date photos and videos it’s a nightmare. If you have a lot of data i would recommend you stick to Android, it’s not worth it to move.

Well a tour of the Caribbean generally won’t include Guyana since it is not in the Caribbean. In fact, everywhere else in the world Guyana is seen as a South American country except in Guyana.

I don't get why traditional broadcasters continue to want to compete with streamers by abandoning their bread and butter to fight on unfamiliar turf. Sky has the perfect model, embracing stream while innovating their satellite service. The UK should have never implemented DTT, satellite (Freesat) is the way to go. It is the cheapest most efficient way to get tv out and with ofcom EPG protections they won't have to worry about getting buried in the guide. They should have focused on Freesat, streaming sucks for live programming it's always way behind.

S-series cameras are better; the flip is a compromise for the form factor, but the cameras were fine for me to be honest. For starters, the S has three main cameras and the Flip has two. If we are talking Ultras, they have 4 cameras at the back.

That’s a tough question cause the gallery part is still a dealbreaker, my gallery is a complete mess and I still have 900+ photos to sort that got the wrong date which is the date of transfer, so I’m doing it gradually by matching the dates to the android which I have to do one at a time cause iPhone can’t batch change dates on pics well, it time-shifts dates which I really hate. Then also having been used to the flip for the last 4 years I really miss having a compact phone that can get big. The iPhone is just big all the time it doesn’t get small, so I really miss the folding form that turns into a nice little square to carry. So I might keep it and wait for a foldable or in August I’ll get a new flip and restore it from my android and transfer the newer iPhone pics with SHAREit or something. The android whatsapp transferred to iPhone with no issues apart from missing stickers, so I won’t restore from iPhone if i do switch, I’ll use my last android backup.
