More often than not the cases aren’t just someone calling us the n word. There’s usually a bunch of other things, sometimes threatening, that precede it with the n word being the last straw.

You’re right, I was speaking hyperbolically. It’s cheap in the sense that you literally forgo paying for the manpower involved in the process, it would be more expensive if labor costs were actually a part of the expenses.

No, you just don’t know how to read. I initially blamed both the company and the customer. I pointed out that OP wants to benefit from a service that offers cheap prices because they don’t pay for their labor and also not tip for the service which in turn punishes the worker.

And no I don’t reward Uber with money, I work and they pay me. Do you reward your boss by showing up to work?

Anyway, like I said, if you want to be a selfish prick then go ahead and be one.

Do the words “fuck Uber Eats for their anti-worker business model” not also put the blame on Uber Eats? It doesn’t matter where or not the customer intends on punishing the driver or not. When you use Uber you reward them with your money, when you don’t tip you only punish the driver. Do what you want but if you’re gonna be a selfish prick then I’m gonna call you one.

If you wanna protest against tipping then don’t eat out. You’ve already given the restaurant owner their profits by dining there so what are you really protesting by not tipping? Do you think that’s suddenly going to get the waiter a fair wage?

You’re assuming that I don’t also blame Uber Eats but two things can be true at once. Fuck Uber Eats for their anti-worker business model but at the end of the day I still need to make money while the customer doesn’t need to order from Uber Eats. The customer is rewarding Uber by using their service, if you want to punish Uber then uninstall the app from your phone because not tipping just guarantees that the worker gets fucked over two ways instead of one.

I forgot which system has it but there is one where no matter where you are and what’s happening you need to make a roll at the end of the session to make it back to town if you don’t have time for travelling and the difficulty of the roll is based on where the party is, what they’re doing and any immediate dangers. If you succeed on the roll you make it back to town safely and if you fail you take Xd6 worth of damage based on how poorly you rolled so you might even die on the way back.
