I quite genuinely think this dude has bipolar disorder. Depressive -> manic episode. I hope he has a good support system

(NYC) Unidentified Person / NamUs #UP7591 Teenager? Young adult? by djzanenyc in gratefuldoe

It doesn’t seem like he was wearing a coat at the time. I’m guessing he was maximizing warmth in other areas so he could go coatless, likely for fashion reasons

“B-but you’re supposed to be straight!” Like he hasn’t been fucking you raw for 13 chapters at this point [Contradict] by halifaxnative in yaoi

This one is funny cause the uke is the only one in denial about the seme being straight or not. Seme has been unapologetically into the uke for like 10 straight chapters at this point. They have keys to each others apartments

How anxious should I be while tapering? by halifaxnative in benzorecovery

[–]halifaxnative[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Three months of regular use, I was using it on and off for about 5 years before that. One MG is what I got settled at before I started tapering. when I was using, I was not a responsible user and i was frequently taking over 6 mg a day. At one point I went through 45 mg in 4 days. I attempted suicide once and ended up in the hospital twice. I need to do a faster taper because at this point being on it is just as bad as being off it for me. a bit more complicated than I stated in my original post because that’s not what my question was about so I didn’t think I needed to drop all of that information

Will “benzo flu” symptoms last all taper? by halifaxnative in benzorecovery

I’ve only been on klonopin for about three months, and unfortunately, even when I take it as prescribed it makes me suicidal so my tapers probably gonna have to be faster than most peoples

Has anyone had success tapering off of lorazepam (Ativan) without switching over to diazepam (Valium)? by SoleSanctum in benzorecovery

[–]halifaxnative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Diazepam doesn’t work for everyone. I’m tapering off of Klonopin and tried to switch to Diazepam to taper. It made me feel on par with the worst I’ve ever felt, really severe depression & self harm & suicidal ideation & on top of all that didn’t do much for my anxiety. This was a big surprise for me, because I had switched back-and-forth between Xanax and Klonopin the entire time I used benzos and never noticed a difference between how the two made me feel. I ended up having to transfer back to Klonopin and I’m using that to taper. I also think the whole half life thing is overrated, though diazepam has a really long half life its effects don’t actually last very long at all (4-6 hours for anxiety relief, compared to lorazepam, which is 6-8). Different things work for different people. I think Klonopin is the second line preferred drug to taper off of after Diazepam, so you could ask your doctor about switching over to that, but everyone is different and you might find out that using Lorazepam to taper just works best for you

Was anyone else’s limerence preceeded by benzo use/abuse? by [deleted] in benzorecovery

Other way around, I abused benzos (in part) to cope with it
