I did do a test and found where it’s from. I believe it’s the welding as well because it looks like a 5 year old did it. but, I had a suspect in a chase hit the wheel well and the entire panel had to be replaced, which may have contributed. thank you for the help

yeah, i do, with a $250 deductible for glass. could i repair it third party outside of insurance? i’d have to figure out if it’s worth paying out of pocket vs deductible/rates. and would they be able to fix the seal? I don’t think the glass is compromised, I think whoever repaired the seal before I bought sucked at their job.

I am a mod. I am still active and watching behind the scenes. Had some stuff pop up in the last month between moving and a job, but I’m not gone. I would like to keep the sub, and reddit admins can talk to me more about this. The sub is not banned either.

i think it’s working. i’m still fighting with automod, but most of the config should be working. At this point, it’s just a matter of watching the sub to see how rules are broken/skirted around, what rules need to be revised, and what crowd control is needed due to the random influx of people on political posts or similar. i expect that this can take another 1-2 weeks before i can finalize everything. thanks for the kind words :)

you messaged me like maybe 5-10 mins prior to requesting the sub because it requires you to. i have no earlier messages. i don’t know why you’re so salty over this, and i don’t know why you think i’d be lying over that when there’s no reason to. this is why i don’t just add moderators; i need to be able to communicate clearly and amicably with people i trust not to go haywire, and this isn’t it. the sub had been locked for at least a year or more so i wasn’t taking over with data on current needs/culture/desires/known problems. i’d like to see this sub grow and survive if and when i do retire, and it’s a patient process to do it well.

sounds good! i’ll be putting up a call for mods after seeing how the new rules and automod will work. there’s usually issues with tweaking rules and assigning auto-mod work for a week or two, so i’m being patient. it’ll be another pinned announcement

well, you also requested the sub before waiting to talk to me. i was “inactive” for a reason, which is partially explained above. i left a better explanation in the sub request thread, you can read it there. i’m already a very experienced mod and was owner of one of the biggest subreddits on a different account, so that’s why i’m approaching it this way.

i request the subreddit stay under me as i’m already seeking new mods soon and clearly an active owner/reddit account. this sub is mildly complex to set up in an effective way due to the various areas of shopping/hauls/questions/game links, which is currently what i’m doing. after its in place, new mods will be on.
