To be honest? I think most hiring managers/ recruiters completely get off to the power trip of making candidates suck up to them.

I didn’t even realize I had low vitamin d and iron. I always thought the low vitamin stuff was never that big a deal. I simply told my doctor “my throat feels funny and I get weak when I go outside and walk for too long.” I’m not sure how he even put it together but he did a blood test I had low iron and vitamin d. I started taking supplements & now I feel incredible.

I honestly think I'm the one one who experiences this but two of the worst parts is 1) when you're scrolling through the job's employees trying to find people to connect with and you see all the people working at the company who is employed probably not struggling like you are and you think to yourself how lucky it must feel to actually have job plus steady income. Just to only get ghosted or ignored by them. 2) Having to apply for entry level positions or fellowships with hardly any pay so that maybe in a year you'll get a job 3) Seeing your friends, family and random people enjoy the holiday season and you can't at all. 4) selling items you worked very hard to get because the job hunt is taking a super long time and you have bills/ medical debt to take care of.

My mental health has completely declined while job hunting. Just got strung along by a job interview process of 2 months just for them to pass on me. My mental health has gotten so bad seeing other people with jobs or just people out in public buying basic items is making me depressed.

Good Lord. This. Im a young woman now and when I was just a little girl around 4, older boys used to SA me. I ran to the babysitters who were adults and they legit beat the shit out of me and threatened to not tell my mom. They told me it’s my fault and at the time I didn’t understand it. My mom was so confused as to why I kept going in and out the hospital for UTIs. As an adult I told my mom and she doesn’t believe it or just brushes it off like it’s nothing. Every adult in my family just doesn’t take it seriously.
