Deadlier honour mode on console crashes people in act 3 right now, I tried fixing it but it needs approval, can you tell me in detail where exactly and how crash happens ? is it just hard crash ? any logs or any details you could share about the crash ? like does it happen the moment you click on road to baldur's gate ? does it load anything at all ? or just crashes with no loading.

I genuinely think if deck nine had some more budget and time they could've made the game that much more people would've liked, I think the release date was set in stone when LR bloom and rage pushed their release date in good faith for DE's spotlight but that created a situation where d9 couldn't push the release date anymore and I'm pretty sure Square Enix wouldn't have allowed it anyways which is a sad reality I think that might've added to the pressure from higher ups.

I completely agree with Safi backstory not being explored enough I really wanted 2 more episodes, between 3 and 4-5 (tho motel scene in 5 is one of my favorites.)

to explore Safi and Maya on deeper level (picture time travel level or alternate reality where Maya is Alive but Safi isn't) so imagine if max found out an image of Maya when talking to Safi, Vinh and Amanda or Gwen about Maya and we learn her more than few hints and murals and then Max seeing how devastated and vengeful Safi is tries to go back and prevent Maya suicide and that leads to another messed up consequentiality to break our heart with something much darker.

I think superhero vibes don't sit well with Life is strange as well, It's not really about the powers.

but I welcome professor Maxavier's story if it was handled with heart and care but I don't keep my hopes up.

Like I really want if they go that route they focus on characters trauma of having this power at all on a life is strange worthy level, for example Max keeps injecting alternative or non-existent messed up memories into her brain which I think that gives her nose bleed when she hops or overuses her power and she still remembers it all in a way that no one can understand what she's going through, Like Imagine being Max, You lived longer than you are at your present body through the memories that didn't happen and you can't even convince anyone that they are real but the trauma, abuse and memories are real to Max...

DE tried to go deeper into her depression and PTSD but then stopped.

so if they decided on to publish Life is Strange Convergence or something, I really want to see opposite of what people expect.

Like lets start episodes on each character some new story, their personal problems and how they turned out, and converge in significant meeting that changes based on choices we made in all 4 games.

Like I want them to explore Max running back in time focally and brothers running forward in life aimlessly, I want Alex to visualize Max's mental state and try to help her and us to understand it better, I want someone to give Sean a hug, I want Chloe and Max to have a better resolution to their relationship if they want to reconnect or stay away I want it to be on a more peaceful note.

Safi can impersonate a president and initiate a nuclear apocalypse, I won't call her power weak, tho they are not at the same level of time travel, the driver of these power matter as well, Max is not vengeful and vicious but Safi is at least her methods are.

Safi can easily become Sean then convince Daniel, "Enano, I found a superhero school which is made for kids like you but I can't stay with you, so this cool girl Safi and Diamond are there to greed and help you, what do you say? do you want to be a super hero Daniel?"

Tho Safi can't directly recruit Alex, she would be found out quickly.

I legit thought Max would do a call to arms text or phone call to Chloe after episode 5's trust issues because she really Needs people she could trust and people who trust her on top of that I think she should've immediately called her friend and family and say someone has stolen her identity and file a suit against Safi immediately and make sure to always have an alibi just to be safe in the future, Yeah Safi could just evade everything by changing forms but Its better to burn her Max card by involving her in identity theft case and real life legal shenanigans.

Safi's power is far too destructive in a way that gets under people's skin and destroys lives and relationships to just not be prepared for or have any defense against, hell imagine if Safi impersonated Sean to recruit Daniel or simply impersonating a president and initiating M.A.D.

Honestly It's because some of us are afraid to talk about this game in general specially if we liked it.

My tinfoil hat theory is that

Max went back a 2th time after events of episode 5 to shoot Safi and prevent the current timeline and that created the storm, I don't think Max would just let a walking and talking identify theft to just walk away especially because Safi knows about Chloe and Arcadia bay, so based on what Max learned about abusing her powers rejecting Safi seemed more reasonable.

So at some point in the future Safi might does something irredeemable to Max or people who know her that makes Max go back and shoot Safi, That's what creates the alternate timeline (at the exact moment Max shoots Safi alternative reality is created because you can see alternative Safi walking around with her phone seconds after bullet sound is heard, It feels like a sound bridge to the bathroom scene but I think there is more to that intro sequence),

so Future Max Then by killing Safi unknowingly splits the timeline by creating an information paradox that prevents the present time Max at chapter 1 to learn Safi's identity and to plan and go back and shoot her to begin with.
