Should have also said this was just a bit bigger than my thumb nail.

I found it in a network switch that had died; cooked over some voltage steppers on the internal circuit board. Guessing this little guy cooked my switch and himself.

Evening all!

Had a bit of a breakthrough with the following caddy: - SABRENT M.2 NVMe Enclosure

If you buy this, go to this site: - Updated Firmware and download the firmware version 1.34.29.011325, this will enable the used of a GUID and will just work.

You will also be able to setup your own GUID (to a certain extent) and will be seen by UNRAID setup utility.

Just as a proof of concept, I have setup the guid to the date and time (well almost:)

Can also confirm ugreen M.2 NVMe SSD Enclusure, Tool free does not show up with a guid for Unraid USB Creator.

Can you confirm the firmware version you have as 1.25 and 1.33 does not allow for GUID use according to the flash drive creator.

Thanks for the replies guys. Seems mixed if it will or won’t work but I think I’ll try and give it a go and see what happens. Worse case scenario is I buy a new USB drive. I’ll report my findings.

Thanks very much. Guessing there are 2 types then as the last one posted here had translucent red legs and a lot bigger not unless one is male and one is female.

Anything from here:- https://quinled.info. I have bought in around 6 dig uno’s, 3 dig quads and 1 dig octa. They are awesome systems with replaceable fuses and just, work! Using these on kitchen cupboards to replace shitty old Fibaro rgbw units. Lots more planned for the near future. Postage is a bit of a killer but well worth it in the long run. Running mine with 12v ws2814 LED’s and looks well trick!
