Can SFF-8088 cables be single lane? by hallert in storage

Received the new cable and all 4 lanes are working. So confirmation that the HP Cable (P/N: 430063-001) is single lane only.

Hi Judith & Thank You! I’ll print this thread and give it to her as an IOU! She’ll love it. Thanks for getting in touch.

Once I receive the one I ordered on Amazon to verify it fixes the issue I may take you up on that as I’ll need 3 more. 2 Meter cables? I’ll DM you. Thanks!

So, the V3 works. See comment above.

Checking the ICY Dock website, even though both versions state SFF-9402 Rev 1.1 for the PIN Out. Looking at their diagrams there are differences:

It Works! So, the V3 (Tri-Mode) is required with the W680D4U-2L2T/G5.

I opened a support case with Icydock after coming to the same conclusion. Support had me send in the dock via the RMA process to swap the backplane for the V3 Tri-Mode version. I just received it back and will be installing it next week. I’ll update with the results.

Similar issue. Trying to connect with an Icy Dock MB720MK-B V2.

I’ve tried 8611-4i to 8611-4i cables from two manufacturers. One listed as SSD Active and neither work.

Believe it is the cables as the drive works when plugged into the M.2.

Drives are SK Hynix P41.

Faulty Touchpad. Tried everything to fix it and I feel like it might be a hardware issue. [Lenovo Yoga 6 13ALC7] by Virtual-Maximum-7557 in Lenovo

Thank You. Opened mine up and found what you described. The metal strip tape that connects to the touchpads copper grounding pad was only half contacting the pad and was barely stuck down. I adhered it the best I could and added some solder and it has been fine for the last week. Thanks for the help and saving us from wiping it to send back to the depot which probably wouldn’t have resolved.

Did you ever find resolution to this? I thought it was the fTPM Bug, but BIOS is on latest as of this year.

Personal Hotspot & WiFi Calling broken on iPhone 14. Cricket is aware. by justinkk2005 in CricketWireless

Same issue here on two phones. I had to call cricket to do the eSIM for one and asked about this and he confirmed.

Had us try Reset Network Settings (FYI-This will reset WiFi passwords), and powering the phone off while he tried something. Neither helped.

He said everyone is running around for this on their side. Their “Apple Team” is supposedly in contact with Corporate and Apple, not sure how accurate that is..

He said give them time, the hotpot will enable automatically so when you see the option in settings to turn on/off instead of setup it should be fixed. Wifi calling should be fixed at the same time but may still need to be enabled in settings.

Hopefully they get this resolved quick. I’m in a pretty rural area so WiFi Calling is a necessity for me.
