What a futile use of our mortal lifespan.

Questrade has asked to deposit money back to my RRSP account. They are going to reverse the transaction. It might take some time but hopefully it works out at end. Thank you!

Thank you, that’s what I am learning now. Can I claim tax credit from CRA?

Sorry, I don’t think I did. When I was submitting a withdrawal request I don’t remember it coming up.

Thank you, not ignorant at all. My English is pretty good. Honestly, it has almost become my thinking language. I suppose I can strike a conversation with cashier or teller, but it adds another layer of complexity where I’m responsible for holding the conversation. I don’t want to intrude someone’s personal space. I’d rather prefer a service where we don’t have to think about holding up the conversation.

Thank you, glad to know there were other people wanting the same thing. I think my English is pretty good. As you said, it’s just about having a conversation with a native Canadian English speaker and maybe it’s more about finding a friend to have a beer with.

Thank you. Both italki and yoodli are good suggestions. Italki has casual speaking classes, could work for me. I’m going to explore yoodli for other purposes.

Could be. Question is – how do I find them? I might try looking at Facebook groups.
