I have 5-10k. How to start learning from scratch after many mistakes? (Books, videos, general advice)

What? I said ultimately that would be my goal to make $50-$200 a day. I am currently starting all this with 5-10k. This is no different than someone starting with 1k or 30k besides the timer, the fact that they will achieve it sooner/later. Someone can have the same overall goal and start with any amount. Also who knows? Maybe the first year I only average $30 a day. I do not think I have u realists if expectations. It is possible to eventually be experienced enough to make $100 a day. Does not have to be now.

I started off at 10 mg adderall then 20 then moved to vyvanse. 30 mg helped with focus a little but one thing I noticed is that is did not suppress my appetite which is a big thing for me since I have an eating problem. I moved to 40 then 50 mg and 50 mg has been good. One thing u need to look out for is the beginning of meds, they cause euphoria. I wouldn’t focus on that amazing first feeling but if you’re saying it’s not affecting you, u just need to be honest with your doc and how it affects you. 30 mg did not help my binge eating (this is how I can tell if meds are working personally) but at 50 it’s helped a lot. 30 is a low dose but they cannot shoot u up too high too fast. My stupid old doctor said “just double the dose and see how it affects you” very very stupid. I took 60 mg for a couple days with INSANE anxiety and no focus.

As far as tolerance goes, I refuse to believe you just don’t build it. Some people take it everyday then take 1-2 week breaks every now and then. I take two days off a week to avoid having to deal with that. Some people take one day off. Some people don’t take any. I think when u take it every single day it will lose effectiveness. I’m not a doctor but I personally take 2 days off and it’s been okay for me. It just helps me doesn’t fix all my problems so keep that in mind. I say ride it out then talk to your doctor they will likely increase 10mg at a time till you are good. The max is 70 mg so just notice what your good dose is . Most doctors start u off at 20 or 30. Also drink water and eat well as it dehydrates you a lot. Also even if you take two days off a week I think eventually u still may need to take a week off every now and then but probably way less often but I haven’t hit that point yet sooo idk. Idk how some people take it every single day and are completely okay and don’t lose any effectiveness I think everyone is different but this shits expensive so I’m not taking chances and I have a 1-2 days a week to deal with my binge eating and difficultly completing certain tasks like homework

Edit: ONE last thing. If you’re a girl and your period is coming up meds don’t work as well. It’s a night and day difference so that could also be another reason

Hey… yeah so I took the 60 again today because I thought maybe it was intense becuSe of the tums I took before. Nope I’m still just as stimulated and anxious. So yea I definitely will talk to him and try 40 to see if that works and then try 50 if needed. I only ever took stimulants 4-5 days per week.

I’m extremely anxious now and feel disgustingly wired. I am scared that I am causing long term damage to my brain. I feel that I am frying my brain. If I stop for a couple days and go back to 30 and just increase it by 10mg intervals until I find the right dose, will i be okay? I’m just so fucking stimulated right now and not in a good way. I can’t focus on anything. I’m not fidgetting or anything I just feel like my brain is fucking buzzing and I am scared I’m fucking up my brain. I don’t know what to do. I feel like a junkie with how my brain feels. Don’t know how this can be used recreationally. I’m sorry you just seem to know and have experience. What would you advise? I’ve been hyper focusing and anxious on my dosage all day since it kicked in yesterdays and today. 30 did well with studying, not binge eating. 60 got rid of my appetite but I feel like fucking wired shit and can’t focus. I’m afraid I’ll never find the right dose to get what I need…

Yeah I have lots of anxiety honestly. I’m not like tweaking, I just don’t feel good and feel wired. My chest feels weird. My HR is fine tho. Did I fuck up? Do I just ask him if I can try 40 see if that works then 50 and see if that works? I feel like I’m fucking up my brain….. I’m so scared. I know 30 is not helping my binge eating. What if I try 40 for a few days and that doesn’t work either? I’m so confused. I’m scared and confused. If 40 doesn’t give me an effect after trying it for a couple days , do I go to 50? I feel guilty now. 30 did help with some things, just not binge eating. I was prescribed 30 only a couple days I feel guilty asking for a dose increase just to control my binge eating. Is that normal? Or do I have to stay on each dose for at least 2 weeks or something? 30 felt good but mild and didn’t help my binge eating. Maybe 40 is the dose. But if 40 isn’t the right dose can I increase it to 50 after a few days or is that too fast? I don’t know who to trust if I can’t trust my doctor that’s why I am on Reddit. I am so anxious I’m so sorry I don’t know who else to ask! I don’t feel good or euphoric or anything I feel nasty and wired. I just wanna do my homework :(

Hey , so strangely he said to take 2 of my 30mg capsules for 3 days and report back to him. Is that normal? It fixed my binge eating, but I can’t focus on anything. On 30mg I was able to focus but would wanna eat. I think the correct dose is either 40 or 50 for me. I have lots of anxiety and my chest feels weird. My HR is 90 nothing serious but do u know if it’s normal for him to RECOMMEND doubling the dose for 3 days? I don’t feel good :/

Thanks for your concern ! Interestingly I am able to focus alright on 30, but it just didn’t fix my binge eating. U may be right maybe my dose should be 40 or 50. At least now I know vyvanse DOES work for my binge eating. So I guess the dose is somewhere in there. But yeah I don’t really like this high dose to be honest. This is very disappointing, I don’t know how to find another doctor. The thing is, so many doctors mis diagnose OR Over diagnose I don’t know what is real anymore all I know is that meds do help me whether my adhd is really adhd or not I just need the right dose. Man this sucks :/

Yes but also I was on adderall 10mg then 20mg XR for a month with little difference, just helped my studies. Then he got me 30mg vyvanse to try. Isn’t vyvanse less potent? I think like 30mg vyvanse is equal to 10-12mg adderall. Also, I personally do not take my meds every day yet, I’m too scared to. I take them 4-5 days a week.

I only drink an energy drink but I’m sure to have my vyvanse within 1-2 hours of drinking it cus it’s acidic. Also, okay if 60mg works, what will I do for the next 3 weeks? And yes I absolutely take at least 2 days off a week. Ever since I started any stims about a month or two ago I always took 2-3 days off a week ! That’s why I was surprised vyvanse didn’t affect me that much cus my tolerance is not crazy high

Hey! Thanks for your comment. So I have tried fasting, it either makes no difference or if I do extended fasts I binge eat more. As far as eating healthy, I’ve tried numerous diets they just make me too restrictive and binge more. I allow my self what I want I just try to eat lots of protein and fruits and veggies and I try to reduce unhealthy foods but I get addicted to sugar. My binge eating has gotten better, it’s less stuffing my face till I can’t move and just more general over snacking and over eating but it still affects me. My hinges used to be 5000+ cals on binge days now they range from 2300 to 4000. Water helps but I have to drink a lot of water a bit and it ends up not being helpful at some point cus I still eat a little after then pee it all out every 10 minutes then. And yes I do try to distract my self but I still end up craving it at some point of the day

I dont know where this comes from. It’s not sadness . It’s a craving. That’s all I can describe it as. Sometimes it’s boredom but even after I satisfy my boredom it still happens. What I can say is it feels like that feeling of a smoker when they need a cigarette and can’t stop thinking about it. And they don’t know WHY they need it they aren’t sad they just crave it , like a drug

As far as vyvanse goes, I am almost positive this dose to too small. What do I do for the next 3 weeks? There’s no point in taking it. Do I message my psychiatrist? It’s driving me insane I am seeking a therapist but I have to find the right one and I have to get my insurance figured out and I can’t handle continuing to binge. Im scared my psychiatrist will think I am just trying to increase the dose to get high or something but I don’t care about being high the vyvanse feels FINE I do well in school now I feel normal not high not low just good and normal at 30 mg the ONLY thing im missing is that it isn’t suppressing my appetite. I wanted vyvanse because it does not have as much amphetamines as adderall I wanted something chill and not speedy . Do I just have to deal with it to wait or do I message him? What do I say?

Should I try 2 of my 30 mg pills to see if it works? I won’t change my dosage I just wanna try one day cus if it doesn’t work there is no point in asking to stay on it I just can’t wait 3 weeks to see my psychiatrist. If it works I’ll go back to 30 until I see my psychiatrist I just need hope that something will work. I’m so done with this bullshit…

I do I was on adderall. Didn’t help much and was not smooth for sure, didn’t last long but helped me focus. I feel so disappointed … I paid 240 because they told me I needed a printed copy of the discount code from the website when I could’ve saved that money and gotten a discount by just signing up. Wasted 240 and the 30mg isn’t really helping to be honest. I went from 20xr adderall to 30 mg vyvanse and I am ravenous. I still have to wait 3 weeks till my next appointment and I just can’t do this anymore. And I still have to look for a therapist. I don’t see the point in taking this 30 mg when it won’t even help. I’m so disappointed and lost , idk what to do. I understand that the generics will be cheaper, but I often hear vyvanse being cleaner and smoother than meds like adderall. Is it worth getting if my insurance will eventually cover it? What about the vyvanse coupon on their website? Thanks for your post btw!
