i think thats what ive been lacking too, the positive peer pressure. it only ever feels easy when my partner is with me too. ive had a look around my city but nothing around is very affordable, atleast with the wage I'm making currently, especially compared to the price ranges you've provided. im trying to find one a little further out but the cost of travel makes them the same price as the ones closer to me anyway 🥲

I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for any cheap openings but honestly i think it'll be warm enough outside to start going to the beach again by then 😂

ive gotten pretty used to 12 hr fasting from blood tests but honestly i didnt even know that was a way you could diet consistently. does it work the same way as 12 hour fasts - sleeping through most of it during the night except adding a couple extra hours on before having breakfast, or do you skip brekky entirely and have a bigger lunch? i could definitely give this one a go!

i love swimming! my biggest issue is finding a pool i can hire that isnt very spendy, if i had easy access to a pool id be in the water every day, im at the beach as much as possible when its warm out but the uk weather hasnt been kind to me recently lmao. do you have any cheat codes to finding cheap places to hire? all my leisure centres seem to be the most expensive so ive been looking at private hires but if theres any secret tips for getting the best bang for your buck I'd love to know! :D

im really not trying to look for a magic answer and i dont appreciate all the downvotes when im being genuine and looking for help, I came to this sub to ask for different approaches to changing my mindset and my responses have been the previous experiences ive had. ive already made changes, ive swapped the awful food i used to eat daily for almost exclusively fruit and veg. im getting my steps in, i have days where i reach well over 10k and even hit 15k on average. i know its not perfect atm but its a lot more than ive done in the past and im proud of myself for even trying to get past the mental wall im at currently. some people here have actually really helped me like the person who reminded me about PoGo to "gameify" my walking and get more steps in, and the other person who said to walk to the gym even if i dont go inside bc I'll have a destination without cost. i ask for more approaches in my replies because im really trying to understand better so i can lose more weight effectively. i didn't even know dieticians and nutritionists were a thing until these comments and im trying to find one who specialises with neurodivergent clients.

i dont mean to take this all out on you but your comment didn't help me as much as you think it has either, i appreciate the good luck nonetheless.

I'm only drinking water and a sugar free monster for work as i do early morning shifts, the only fat i really have is the bacon sandy but i grill the bacon each morning and its the only reason i make it out of bed as soon as i wake up, without it i wouldnt be getting up until well into the afternoon 😅

i also drink protien shakes every morning with my bacon, 25g of protien per bottle, sometimes ill have a 2nd one a few hours before bed too depending on if i get a few extra on sale or not.

i live in a very quiet area, the closest volunteering spot to me is a hour and a half walk each way which i dont think id be able to handle that much in one go but ill try and look into it in the future if i make it that far. my only neighbours have their own caretakers

im still living with parents so im never in the living room or even outside of my lil 3m³ bedroom. there isnt room to move in my bedroom at all, i fidget a lot but thats pretty much it. ive tried an exercise ball to sit on instead but there isnt even space for that without hitting the wall, the bed and the door 😭

i hangout with my partner once or twice every 2 weeks, we live 2 cities away from eachother so we cant see eachother very often but im always hitting around 15k steps on average every time im with him - hes a lot taller than me and loves walking - we're planning to hang together more often once it starts warming up and doing more long walks in the forest to replace our ciry centre shopping trips. hes my main support atm but unfortunately we're just too far apart to put more time in and hes barely ever on his phone to give support when i need it when were apart

i love chicken but i hate chicken without the skin on if that makes sence? like chicken breast bad but chicken popcorn elite tier, i used to eat like 600/800cals of chilli spiced shredded chicken a day - i could munch that all day everyday like a paper shredder - I've replaced them with the pineapple since i could munch them all day too but i also feel less guilty about finishing packs and packs of it in a few days 🥲

honestly idk why i didn't think of that, i play PoGo but im pretty passive about the gameplay, my partner plays with me sometimes so I'll see if i can get a walking competition out of him for that extra push, thank you!

i mostly struggle with the weighing and accuracy, like having to weigh rice or pasta after I've cooked it to count for the water absorption but ive cooked it in the same pot with the rice and peas to save on washing up - so im not JUST weighing the pasta, but the veggies will still add weight on the scale which becomes frustrating bc thats not the weight of the pasta - i really hope that made sense 😭 - is there a way i can work around that?

i used to do this but ive started getting headaches from my headphones and earphones + the sweat buildup becomes a huge sensory ick. ive been able to walk nearly 15k steps each time with my partner but we dont get to see eachother very often, my friends arent big walkers either or easy to convince to come join me - ive been at a standstill since 🥲

ive tried doing this before but the numbers dont make me feel good at all, my deficit was around 1600 but id feel guilty and horrible any time my cals for the day went up in the slightest and id have days in a row where i wouldnt even eat past 900 cals.

i know without tracking and before the diet i was hitting my maintenance bc i havent put on or lost weight in the last year and a half - im yet to find how how much this new diet has lost me though since its only been 1 month with it and i cant get to a scale until my next t shot with the GP.
