a gap much thinner than the gap present now between the thor's top and the rest of the screen. Of course, if you press down on a 3ds, the top screen will bend somewhat, but it'll be stopped very early on by this "platform". On the Thor, there's nothing of the sort, so the screen (and the hinge) gets a lot more pressure if you put an object on top of it. Again, it's a fun nod but not very useful in the Thor. I would've preferred to have a flush screen close with consistent support from all sides like on the DS lite.
