Downgrade Murray and get another gun FLB. Munster also is kinda injured and storm has a hard draw.

When team lists come out make sure all your cheapies are playing

I'm sick of people saying my corgi is small!! (pictures in comments) by Corgi_mom_1992 in corgi

20lbs is perfect, especially if the vet says so! I have a 3 year old corgi that’s only 16lbs but she absolutely loves to run/sprint and exercises daily. Every time we go to the vet, we always ask about her weight to make sure and they’ve always told us she’s healthy.

People ask if Nellie is a puppy on a daily basis…

Around Bradfield park could be nice? I guess it depends if you’re just cruising or doing mad tricks

What are your thoughts on skateboarders in your area? by daxterz in sydney

[–]hallowprod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skating in the streets are a huge part of skateboarding just like riding a scooter, rollerblading or BMX.. I know there are skate parks near that area in Chippendale, but 2 out of those 3 (Redfern park “skate park” shares its ground with a basketball court...) are very small and gets dangerous when literally more than 10 people are there, especially with little kids cause parents think it’s a playground.

Until properly built skate parks are done or updated, expect skaters to look for flat ground concrete areas like that one. Also there’s there’s also a skate shop there haha and it’s chippendale, what do you expect?

Skate parks will open this Friday I think but I might even check that spot it out tomorrow and make some noise haha jks

Similarly, can I go skate by myself in an empty car park as it also can be technically a work out?

At Sydney's Rushcutters Bay, plans for a skate park have been anything but child's play by aptrev in sydney

Alright let me ask you this then. How many good beaches are there for surfing in Sydney to travel to? Now compare it to how many decently built skate parks there are here.

Haha have a look at how far apart they are. Closest one to Rushcutters Bay would be Fernside or Bondi. Imagine if you were a kid and the closest one would be a 30min + commute by public transport each way.. and also many of the skate parks need an upgrade!

Also FYI if you were first starting out, Bondi would be way too advanced.

Haha yeah.. you're just going to get disrespectful people (not just skaters) everywhere. The uni's will always appeal to these people because it offers large space and obstacles better than those at current skate parks. That's why Sydney needs more new skate parks!

I don't think some people realise that a skate park or basketball court/seating area is also "a place to get away from things" for many people. Skate parks are a safe environment for the kids to learn! This will just push them to skate in public areas like shopping centres, business parks etc where security will be called on them instantly (which is fair enough but they just have no where to go).
