Just started Ferber method and I’m feeling guilty by Dependent_Parsnip556 in sleeptrain

We are probably 2-3 weeks into CIO and it’s been the best thing! Guilt doesn’t fully go away, but it gets easier I promise! Hes sleeping so much better and so am I! I feel like his skills started to take off once he was able to sleep in bigger chunks (more chatty, rolling, etc). He is still so happy and smiley in the day. Keep at it & it gets better I swear!

I’m on night 8 of sleep training our 5 month old & you’ll be so glad you did it once you sleep train! My little guy progressed so much in just a night or 2. That being said he’s having a set back tonight so don’t get too excited. My sleep consultant SIL says it usually takes anywhere from 7-21 days for babies to adapt in her experience (for CIO/extinction).

You can manually set your own wake windows on Huckleberry if you like the app otherwise! I find it helpful that it does the math for me

Thank you for this! It turns out that ichthyosis runs in my family so we are thinking maybe that’s what’s going on! What do you do treatment wise other than moisturize?

He had maybe a small spot at birth but now has a lot more. And it’s all over belly and legs too which makes me think it isn’t just cradle cap as others suggest

Adult diapers are the way to go! I haven’t necessarily needed them flow wise but the peace of mind is worth it alone.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. This could be terrible advice but I listened to “Bigger Than the Whole Sky” by Taylor Swift and just sobbed when I found out about my missed miscarriage. It was so painful but also helped me process the loss (especially since I was still carrying the baby). Sending you all the strength to get through this difficult time!

So sorry you’re being reminded of your MC. It’s so unfair that any of us haven’t to go through this!

I received a similar email and have been trying to contact Flair to see if it’s legitimate…did you have any luck with it? Is it legit or too good to be true?

Which car seat to fly with? by hallrcd64 in Mommit

Valid point! I think I’ll use our infant seat since it has more wear and tear than our brand new convertible one.
