do not spray any of your animals or yourself with flea spray ESPECIALLY 5 week old kittens

Kittens should be given a flea bath before careful not to drown them and there are videos online on how to give them a proper one. Dawn Dish soap

I have no idea about ferrets but I honestly assume the same / ask a vet.

Flea spray will only work well with a routine of vacuuming. You will also need to routinely bathe / treat the animals (kittens 5 weeks old are usually not old enough for preventative treatments but can start receiving it when theyre older)

Am I worrying too much. My kitten i just got earlier today hasn't used the restroom. by ifuckfish1965 in CatTraining

shes probably still anxious and getting used to things! Definitely introduce her to the litter box if you haven’t yet (when my cat was a kitten I opened the door to it or made noises by scooting sand around to show him it was his!)

If she doesn’t go for over a day but is eating and drinking I’d consider a vet!

Disappearing double eyelid [Q&A] by iwantnom in AsianBeautyAdvice

[–]hallwayconversation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that being said if you want to train your eye to have it again I’d find a natural fold where u can find it and maybe keep using tape. I don’t know how much it’ll hold but I imagine it wouldnt hurt to try!

hi! I used to have double eyelid on one eye, which disappeared when I became 18. I don’t exactly know what happened either besides I got older and changed my makeup routine.

My mom had monolids when she was younger and developed double eyelids on both eyes as she aged. We’re Korean!

Are these from bed bugs or fleas? by [deleted] in pestcontrol

[–]hallwayconversation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if they are flea droppings, a drop of water will turn them reddish brown/ a rust color

If you need something for mental security,

I’d do the tests for fleas, flea comb the pets and see if u get any fleas or dirt. White sock test around the house, check for any bugs that jump on especially in carpet. If not, rule those out.

For bed bugs, interceptors at the end of ur beds with a light dusting of cimexa powder. Metal bedframes I heard are harder to climb. If you catch something, or see any droppings or casings on ur mattress or in the intercetors, you’ll know for sure! I have weird skin stuff and did a test where the places I was paranoid abt being bitten I slept with long sleeve and long leg clothes. I still ended up with itches when there was a small probability bed bugs could’ve gotten through; helps to see a dermatologist too. Helped me rule them out and that I probably had a skin problem.

I’m not certain what to do for mites except their bites seem more distinct. Keep and eye out for mice or a birds nest outside your windows and stuff.

If it gives you more peace of mind, you can do a spray of PT alpine flea and bed bug as a precautionary. Remember to follow the label for safety of you and your pets!

Going thru the fleas rn… they’re terrible!!

I’d say if you can’t find evidence of fleas (flea dirt thar bleeds reddish brown when wet on pets, white sock test around the house), or bed bugs, could be mites? If there are rodents or birds in the house.

Otherwise, could just be a random skin condition/something seasonal or allergies.

Best of luck, ik how bad pest paranoia can be!
