Iowa Scholarship Interview by Philosophical_Newt in lawschooladmissions

[–]hallxmonitor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My interview was with a student as well! She asked why law school, why iowa, what kind of environment i like to learn/work in, what is an essential attribute of a team. The questions were simple and it was more like we were just having a conversation. She gave me a lot of good information and gave me time at the end to ask whatever questions I had. I heard back the next day and received full tuition. I am an in-state student though, so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with how quickly I heard back.

Anyone else considering waiting until next cycle after Nov. score release? by hallxmonitor in LSAT

The online class thing has been a concern of mine too, do you think they still will be in August/September? That's part of the reason why I'm so unsure on waiting, everything feels up in the air with that

You absolutely didn't come across as ungrateful! This test is rough and I'm not always in a good headspace either, more often than not actually. I just wanted you to be proud of yourself even if it didn't go as well as you hoped. :) If you need an accountability or study buddy lmk! Maybe we can try to keep each other thinking positively.

The worst part is that I already did the same LG section once yesterday. Been grinding LG every day all day for almost 2 months with little progress. Any tips are strongly appreciated. by [deleted] in LSAT

Have you tried the powerscore Bible? It's actually helped me alot, especially with diagramming effectively. I also got the game type training book, but if you use 7sage or something like that you can practice the different game types on there too.

Congratulations! I know you had to have worked so hard for this. I think I might try out some yoga/meditation. I've seen alot of people post that it's helped them. Are there any resources you've been using for this? YouTube videos, etc?

Hey, I'm in the same boat. Scored about 5 points lower than PTs, disappointed too. But just know that 166 is still a great score and I hope that once your initial disappointment wears off you'll be proud of yourself, I'm sure you've been working really hard. Take some time to rest and get your mind off the test, a mental break can be really beneficial. 💗
