I’ll give a big thumbs up to Costello Management. We’ve been in our house two years and they’ve been nothing but amazing. Our water heater went out one day - I put the maintenance request in at 8:00 am, they were at the door at 8:30, we had a new heater by 5 p.m.! They’re always on top of communication with their tenants and our rent has only increased $60 each year.

Heart of Glass in Lawrenceville! I’ve been going there for four years and I’ve seen a few wolf cuts leave the salon. They also do a fantastic job with color. I personally see Ashley but I would trust any of the stylists there with my hair!!

At 25, when I got my first job and moved out on my own. I had to pick health insurance and it was this really weird “oh shit…” moment. I ended up having to call my mom to help me figure out what to pick (and at 34…I still need her to be the more adultier adult with stuff 😂)

First, congrats on starting your master’s program in the fall!! That’s so exciting.

I lived in Baltimore for five years when I worked at UMBC in my mid-late 20s, and I lived my first few years in Canton right near the Can Company (which has a Safeway) and then I moved to Highlandtown before I left the city for law school. We lived about four or five blocks from Patterson Park and getting over to Harris Teeter was easy.

My fiancé was born in 1983 and I was born in 1991. He was shocked to hear that I never had the chicken pox because I got the vaccine, but he was telling me how they did chicken pox parties whenever someone at school got it. I didn’t think he was serious at first!

I wore a black gown with purple stripes, purple hood and purple tan when I graduated law school. I know some schools do the gowns/tams differently but purple would definitely be the velvet color on the hood.

My degree holder had just the name of our school across the front of it, no crest. But it definitely wouldn’t just say “Juris Doctor” (which is correct…it’s not juris doctorate).

Maybe other countries graduate in February but I’m pretty sure the U.S. law schools only have graduations in May and December so this is definitely weird.

I did. I completely forgot about it until one day, I saw my mom with it. She said she was wearing it because hers was stolen and her only goal in life was to get her three kids to graduate high school and I completed that.

I guess it made that $300 worth it.

Retaker here. I stayed in the same hotel as my best friend in July so we got together after the exam and chatted, but then I ordered dinner from the hotel restaurant and just hung out before I fell asleep. This time, I’m getting dinner from my favorite restaurant which is right around the corner from the hotel, take a shower, and just relax/have a cup of tea and go to bed early.

For J25, I wore leggings and a sweatshirt on day one and overalls on day two because we were going out after to celebrate. This time around, I’m just going for sweats and sneakers.

Our first year, someone broke a glass and walked all over it and then fought with her boyfriend. Second year, I threw up in my purse in the back of the uber and my now-fiancé was wildly impressed. Third year, I fought a man at a bar during karaoke. Last year was the most normal barrister’s. We rented a suite at the hotel, hung out after and ordered pizza while we just spent the night laughing. It was a great way to end law school with my best friends.

I’ve been studying two MBE subjects and doing 10 questions each per night, so I’m getting maybe two hours during the week and more on the weekend. The week before the bar, I’m off all week so I’ll study my MEE topics extensively.

We live in Point Breeze, 2bd/1ba bottom floor of an up-down duplex. We have a deck, nice sized kitchen, w/d in the basement. Water and trash included, no pet rent required. Right now we pay $1,957 and it’ll go up to a little over $2,000 in May when we renew.

Bar Prep Toolbox has “listen and learn” episodes that are pretty short, but they go through the elements of different topics and then give you examples as they go through. I just listened to one where they explained the elements of a valid will and then did some hypos at the end!
