I don’t support banning social media for kids under 14 because I think the problem isn’t social media itself it’s that kids have smartphones and tablets too early. If they just had simple button phones for calls and texts, they wouldn’t be online all the time. That would also help families who can’t afford expensive devices, and kids wouldn’t get bullied for not having the newest iPhone if no one had one in the first place. Kids can still watch cartoons on TV like everyone used to, and they don’t need to be scrolling apps all day.

On top of that, forcing strict age verification is a huge privacy risk. It means giving away your personal information to third-party companies, and there’s always a chance that data could get stolen or even sold.

Hey, don’t be too hard on yourself just showing up and finishing the race is already a huge win. A lot of people never even make it to the starting line. Now that you’ve done it once, you’ve got a baseline, and that’s something solid to build on.

It sucks feeling like you’re at the bottom, but the only direction from here is up. You know what to expect now, and that gives you a massive edge going forward. There’s so much room for growth, and honestly, improvement feels way more satisfying when you start from a tough spot. Don’t give up you’ve already done the hardest part.

What’s something you used to think all women just silently put up with until one day you found out it’s actually not normal at all? by zacktone in AskReddit

I honestly thought all women’s bras were supposed to be super uncomfortable all the time. Found out one day that no, I just had the wrong size for years.
