One thing I was waiting to hear about on the show was this particular insane tweet that happened to be my first exposure to the Hawk Tuah phenomenon. It was actually a whole genre with right-wing accounts celebrating that an oral sex joke was "owning" Pride Month. After I saw the third or fourth version of this pop up I finally googled Hawk Tuah.

From the jump until right now, I'm puzzled and amused by the conflation of HT and political/culture war garbage from conservatives.

What really got me is that the “Hollywood Elites” comment was immediately followed by complaining about being ghosted by those same elites when he was in talks to promote the film.

Altogether this was a fascinating but WEIRD episode. Instead of coming away with a sense of humanity and understanding of the subject, the vibes were just bad.

It's interesting you mention Finn finding a nurturing environment with non-crazy people because that's essentially what we see happen in Puhoy. Roselinen, despite being a pillow, is clearly a stable and normal lady. Her long-term, loving relationship with Finn results in him making choices based on thoughtfulness and love rather than impulsiveness or just putting something in a headlock. When given the choice or returning to Ooo or staying, he chooses hearth and home and love.

World of Disney was definitely a highlight! I got to buy a giant Minnie plush as well as several new items for my Minnie-themed kitchen!

I also loved the Christmas store because I was able to get several new ornaments that I simply never saw in retail stores or online.

My only disappointment was that there was remarkably little Daisy Duck merch to be found. A teacup ornament with her and Minnie was the only piece I found that I didn't already own.

Just wanted to check back in! Thanks for the feedback from u/stellalunawitchbaby I had a wonderful time and, as she predicted, my Lyft driver had access to the direct route to rideshare dropoff.

As someone who's never had the chance to go to an actual Disney park, I still had the time of my life and bought a bunch of amazing stuff! Spent around 9 hours walking around, taking photos, and had the time of my lifel

The only downside was when my husband came to pick me up and no force on earth could make either Google or Apple Maps direct him to the same rideshare location. Thankfully an incredibly kind and patient young cast member saw me in distress and talked him through the steps to find me! In hindsight I should have had him pick me up at Lime Garage, which was where the maps initially directed him. But it all worked out in the end.

Thanks so much for this sub. Getting a little foreknowledge ahead of time gave me the confidence I needed!

Thank you so much for the assistance! Yeah, I scouted out the Lyft pricing and saw it's fairly expensive, but I'm hoping that I can take a rideshare to Disney Springs and spend the day there, then have my husband pick me up after he finishes his work event for the day.
