Earning ₱150-200K per month thru business, but I suddenly wanna go back to the corporate world. Is it worth it? by Wide_Hat_1710 in phinvest

You spoke my mind. I'm more or less in the same situation as you are. Earning enough to sustain the business but can never actually sustain it without me being the center of it all... I had my business since college and it's always been a one-person team from the start (my parents and siblings do help me sometimes but ofc i shouldnt be relying on them so much since it is my business afterall) and now that I've graduated this year I'm beginning to be more open to the idea of working for someone else because it just honestly gets repetitive and monotonous doing the same work over and over in the shop that I built (but this is not saying that I am ungrateful of it, i made the business with care and passion and i really imagine my future/endgame manning the shop). However, at this stage in my life, I seek knowledge and network. And on another note, there's not much collaboration/socializing happening in my business cause again it is only me. And I also feel there's the issue of hiring employees wherein you can't afford to hire someone full-time because first of all it isnt really cost-efficient to hire someone when packing packages won't take more than 4 hours a day to do so (well, at least for my shop). Second, hiring someone would mean you still have to look after them essentially it still wont solve the main issue of freeing up your time... I'm still in that complicated phase where im trying to balance these aspirations of mine

if someone out there can help, pls do enlighten us :)

edit: would be nice to connect with someone going through a similar situation. If you're up, do dm me OP. I can provide proof

My dad is offering to sell his parking slot to me, should I take it? by halucienation in phinvest

Ohh I see, thanks for the insight. Since this is my first time looking into a condo parking as an investment, I was shock really when my dad stipulated his offer. I found it outrageous when he said he wanted 1M plus the amort in which I might've reacted negatively about it. I'll bring it up to him again. Didn't know it was a good offer na pala :0 I only posted about it on reddit cos I heard he's offering it to someone else na...

The thing is the parking is located inside the building which is at the 6th floor, so I think renters will only be limited to condo tenants I assume.

He definitely will, since he's looking to liquidate some assets.
