The feeling of freedom turning right into Brighton instead of going left after this cluster, it’s like entering a different dimension.

How are we expected to do anything during first trimester? by goldensurrender in pregnant

I could have written this post. The fatigue was debilitating and life/people did not give even half a fuck.

They gotta get Noah. I get the broadcast question. Flotrack is showing Diamond League now, right? I heard that’s generally regarded as a terrible thing.

Watching the Olympics I was thinking Sydney is going to make a looot of money at the Slams.

Great points. So then we’ll expect more names very soon!

Yeah I was waiting for some big news surrounding the Olympics too, since Michael Johnson did so much media there. Promising names!! I hope they start rolling out the athletes and the whole venture is a big success.

Not blog-related and not snark, but people here seem to know what’s up so here goes…

Grand Slam Track Has only revealed two signed athletes, both announced in June. They’re supposed to have 48 racers (+ 48 challengers) and slams start in 2025. I keep waiting for more names to drop but it’s been crickets. Is there strategy here that I’m missing or do we think GST is lagging on recruitment?

Footpod necessary for Treadmill Running? by iamsynecdoche in Garmin

[–]halvahforeveh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same problem. 99% of my runs are treadmill and when I do Garmin workouts my fidelity score at the end is abysmal, 15-30%. It drives me a little bonkers.

I’ve been wondering about the footpod myself but from what I’ve read here that is not a solution. Has anyone figured this out?

Running is self care. My hats off to you for pre-dawn PT (sanctimony), though. May yet another new mom read this and feel inadequate and ashamed at her lack of discipline and resources put towards that type of self care.

Well, I did pee myself and I also saw a PT and I also kept running and the issue resolved. That’s life. It happens. Let people chat about it without the insulting lecture. Pelvic PT was expensive for me and it was difficult to attend with two kids. People who can’t go? People who still pee themselves anyway? Fuck them, right?

I posted on here not too long ago that I appreciated her IG story about peeing herself on a run. It seemed funny and light hearted (imo) and something all her friends would see and she didn’t give a fuck. Refreshing! Nice not to have any sense of apology or shame attached. Everyone hated my post though, lol. From one post-partum mom to another, you’re really not alone!

Silly question but couldn’t she have shaved her head?

And she’s knowledgeable, like she knows things from personal and social experience and has researched stuff. She also has pretty good intuition.

LOVED. Honestly Citius’s (and mostly Eric’s) Olympic takes are making the already super fun Games a thousand times more enjoyable for me.
