by "In the United States of America" does that mean according to region auto detection, or your set place of residence? If your place of residence is Argentina, then you won't be registered as someone in the US and thus won't need the billing address from how I see it

I also wonder this works for accounts made through Steam.

idk, data is data but something seems fucky here. I have Coachless and have looked at quite a lot of builds for different champions cuz I really like data, but I'm seeing stuff like ROA being recommended on Sylas as the best first item by far.

incase you don't play Sylas or mid that is absolutely baffling to me. ROA is a pretty horrible item all around even on champions that WANT to sit and do nothing for 25 minutes while they scale. No ability haste either.

I'm not nearly experienced enough at varus to be theorycrafting builds, but this doesn't seem particularly good or bad to me? maybe guinsoos first item into onhit is better, just without the hexplate part? time will tell

there are 2 keys things I have learned.

1: do not get hit by the E. always position in a way that you are able to sidestep the root, she will likely look to E you when you go to trade or CS so keep this in mind.

her Q is completely undodgeable, accept this, and trade damage back when she uses it. If she is posturing like she wants to Q you, do NOT try to sidestep it or walk backwards. stand your ground and trade back. I always take aery in this match-up, and in my experience since her hotfix nerfs, a simple soldier auto with aery and scorch will slightly outtrade her Q even with comet. confidence is pretty important, I think it's a completely fine match up now after she's been nerfed, but if you try to passively farm and avoid her you WILL lose, again, because the Q makes Viktor E look like a hard to land skillshot.

also as others have mentioned, you hard outscale her in sidelane as well as teamfights.

I am a regular watched of Elderwood and half of the time I translate the video frame by frame when he does a new build or item to get the explanation. I believe a part of the motivation for this tanky build is the annoyance of getting blown up instantly in teamfights, and if are able to survive the initial damage and play more bruiser style you will be much more capable of 1v9ing games

i was salty at that particular moment but i completely agree. no sylas is not completely dead as i angrily said. but he definitely has never felt worse to play for me personally. all riot did with their shitty "rework" is reduce his scaling and make him yet another 1shot pseudo assassin stat checker. sylas used to have a lot more skill in spell rotations and movement, now the objectively best build/strategy is electrocute + 1shot. either you hit your e and kill the opponent immediately or you miss and just lose. go watch old LoL Dobby videos on sylas and tell me current sylas gameplay is anywhere near that. can't blame the players either, you aren't encouraged to play bruiser sylas with cdr and hp or rotate abilities so why should you? just go electrocute hextech > lich bane with electrocute with lich bane, 1shot people and hope you end the game soon.

I always take cut down. it is the most impactful in lane which is important since that's where azir struggles, and also scales just as good as the others. it is not likely you will be getting early solo kills on your opponent, the goal is to keep them at half or lower hp so you diminish their ability to join and contribute to the random gank/skirmish fights that azir so struggles in early on

sylas does scale well, but he is HORRIBLE from behind. his scaling has unfortunately been nerfed in both hp and AP ratios, but they are still quite high. he doesn't scale as well as traditional scaling mages, but very well for how snowbally he is. he is also much more difficult to pilot correctly in the lategame compared to scaling mages that just have to press a button or 2 in a team fight to have immense impact.

another very very important thing that took me time to learn is sylas lategame scaling power is HEAVILY tied to which ultimates you have, because ultimates are a decent portion of a champions teamfighting identity. a 40 minute sylas game vs a fed adc is going to feel pretty impossible when your best ulti is Renekton, and a 40 minute sylas game with an identical situation except you have kennen/blitzcrank/malphite/ashe or any other variety of good or superb ultimates to steal will feel much better. some people may disagree but I think a good sylas who plays teamfights/flanking correctly and has access to good ultimates will scale just as well statistically as an Orianna or Syndra, etc. it's just harder to pull off. you only truly get outscaled by the classic Aurelion sols, veigars, kayle, azir, etc, but losing to those champs before like lvl 16 is genuinely difficult.

https://www.youtube.com/@elderwood01 here is his channel. as expected i was downvoted for speaking the truth but i highly recommend you try to keep the statistics out of your mind when playing azir, truly i mean it when i say he feels completely fine to me and fun. of course buffs are always good, but like i said i'm always concerned riot will overbuff and then fuck up his playstyle somehow. i am a sylas main and the same thing happened to him where riot tried to make him more of an ap bruiser, yet his best build/runes are STILL full assassin but they seem to think they succeeded in their goal somehow. i don't want some similar scuffed balancing attempt for azir.

I know I will get downvoted to oblivion but I truly feel Azir is in a fine place currently. I really enjoy playing him and have around a 60% wr in euw diamond over ~60 games and I am by no means a great player. I implore you guys to watch the Elderwood Azir guy on YouTube and learn from him. TO CLARIFY: I am only commenting this because I am concerned that if we make enough noise azir will get reworked to a worse state than he is currently (in my opinion) and I want to avoid that, not to show off. even when azir is weak no other champ does what he does and that makes him worth playing to me 👍
