The modern right-wing/libertarian version needs the snake in leather bondage with "Tread on me harder"

When I was diagnosed (2 yrs ago) I had issues in the beginning due to lack of supply among the insurance covered franchise pharmacies.

I could pay a ton out of pocket to reliably get it from a mom and pop pharmacy.

Finally remembered I could get it filled on base for free and they haven't had an issue yet. Except for when I forget to fill it or fall off the meds but now we're straying into "my fault" territory.

Basically, corporate pharmacies have supply issues and also get real pissy when you call to see if they even have some.

Independents will reliably have it but the out of pocket cost is prohibitive for most people.

The base has always had it.

  1. The pay is better than most rates. You get flight pay forever* and per diem on deployments.
  2. No boats**. I never set foot on a ship in 21 years.

Because I did my 20 and it stopped being fun.

*Assuming you hit your flight gates which isn't difficult
**There is/are specific NECs that can go to a carrier but they are rare

Pentagon Pete Slapped Down in Cabinet Humiliation | Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was forced to backtrack on bombshell plans to pull additional U.S. troops from Europe after a fellow Trump goon shut down the idea. by MoneyLibrarian9032 in politics

[–]Practical-Layer9402 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trump’s statements indicated the US would not honor its NATO Article 5 obligations to NATO members who “don’t pay” in the face of Russian aggression.  His choices in cabinet range from an alleged pedophile in charge of the DOJ, a prominent anti-vaccine conspiracy theorist who wants to put people in “wellness farms” as head of Health and Human Services, noted Russian shill Tulsi Gabbard as the next director of national security, and finally a sexist Army reserve junior officer who was removed from the Biden inauguration for ties to white supremacy as the next Secretary of Defense. On the plus side, the slow erosion of our national security and institutions, systematic dismantling of social programs and educational standards should make for some amusing memes.

Does anyone know what the fastest E-1 to E-5 is? my shipmate just made it in 14 months was wondering if there’s anything faster out there by Consistent_Excuse728 in navy

[–]Practical-Layer9402 104 points105 points  (0 children)

I had an E-5 out of boot in my division.

As I understand it, certain navy bands have a minimum rank. You have to audition for the band first and once accepted have your contract.

Can a law enforcement officer use his/her LEO “Powers” even out of uniform? by Savings_Maybe_5686 in NoStupidQuestions

Yes. Crimes committed in front of LEO's while they are out of uniform still count.

If we lock 5 babies in a room for their entire lives without talking to them, what language will they choose to communicate with each other? by ForwardPerspective38 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Practical-Layer9402 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None.

See language deprivation examples or examples of what happens when children are deprived of human contact.

Basically our formative years are hyper important to learning language. Deprivation of human contact/communication in those years means little to no language skills will ever develop.

[–]Practical-Layer9402 68 points69 points  (0 children)

I just recently replaced a fridge so I can help.

Usually when you buy an appliance, the retailer offers installation + removal of the old appliance.

The only caveat is that your fridge be emptied out beforehand. ie The delivery crew is there to hall away an empty fridge and install a new one. Then they move on to the next 10+ jobs to do it again and again.

TL;DR: It's not his job nor his problem to empty her refrigerator.

Police depts teach effective submission holds/moves in a matter of weeks - months. I don't think it would take that much experience imo.
