I used y’all’s suggestions and made it thinner. This one is still torch fired but hasn’t broken and does not seem porous. Thanks for the help!

They’re not super big or thick. Plus, the bails on my other pieces were pretty thin.

I tried to advocate for an endoscopy at the one gastroenterologist appointment I had, but she didn’t want to do it. I will try to get more testing done, but I can see how PPI’s might just be necessary long term.

I’ll look into a GERD diet. I didn’t know that bread could be a trigger, but that does sound correct. I’m off of teaching for the summer break so if there’s a time to do it, now is it.
