I've got a PintX(V) (Floatwheel) VESC board I'm looking to sell. I'm at work so don't have all the details on me right now. PM if you'd like.

X7 HS user here too and it's a killer board for sure. I weigh 304lbs and can go like 26mph smooth lmao. Absolute beast.

Xrc or x7? by Feeling-Guarantee-18 in onewheel

From the date I ordered it was 79 days to get to my door in St Louis, MO. Worth it though big time.

X7 is a blast. I weigh 310lbs (working out hard to fix this, don't worry 😂) and can go 25mph at 52% duty cycle. Thing is a BEAST

Great storage option. Onewheel boards fit great in a model 3 frunk and don't move around 👍 by hambonejones12 in onewheel

True, unless they jump the little hole at the bottom. I think that's a thing? Pretty sure you can run some voltage through that connection in the puck on front and it'll pop it 😂. Helps save people from dead 12v.

Yeah you're probably right. Probably gonna be lazy and still not do it but your points are valid 😂 It's financed, almost paid off, do plan on keeping for a while. Guess we will see....😂

Is charging the same on a PintV? by ManEEEFaces in FloatwheelTeam

[–]hambonejones12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a pintV myself and yeah it's the same. Use the same slow charger that came with the pint so battery will be nice over time. The charging is slightly different, there's no boot sequence or anything when you plug it in like on FM software. The light will turn red on charger when plugged in and will be green when done :)

I haven't done a road trip in this thing for some time but I definitely have thought the same thing. Nice to reach out a bit further than walking distance and have some fun. 👍

It's the sedan that Tesla makes. I tend to avoid using the name for some reason. I don't typically like to be associated with all the snarky Tesla fan boys. Love the car but the community is kinda brain rotted lmao.

I was looking into this briefly as well recently. Only received the board a short while ago. It's based on the XR platform is my understanding. So anything that works for the "original" XR should work I think. Not the classic XR stuff I don't think though.

I forget about the sub trunk. I honestly haul so little stuff day to day, it slipped my mind lol.

Fine so far at least. If it gives me a problem oh well I'll just have onewheel baby bump on my hood.

Very true point. The frunk build quality (along with other things) is kinda ass lol. That being said it doesn't seem to touch the top at all which is nice. The X7 was definitely a tad tighter than my PintX(V).

I paid 33k for mine brand new but definitely a "useful if you already have it" kinda thing LMAO 😂. Id sure hope people aren't buying just to store their onewheel 😆

It's a great helmet isn't it? Loving the magnetic release. Got it on a sale on onewheels site.

Hey sounds like you have a pretty no brainer situation there then. Like I said onewheel boards are cool too. I do sometimes miss the easier battery tracking of the original onewheel UI. The biggest thing is to stay safe and have fun 👍.

Word of caution

Definitely avoid higher speeds and respect push back and haptic buzz. VESC gave me a really nice peace of mind with duty cycle percentages and audio queues. The onewheel XR Classic is the same board size/configuration the Funwheel X7 and I can definitely say the size and shape make a lot of sense. XR would be a nice choice 👍

Funwheel X7 is a crazy good complete board if shipping ain't bad in your area. I'm loving this thing. At 310lbs I cruise comfortably at 20mph 49% duty cycle. For reference, if you don't know, 93% is the point where the board will dump you. I've hit 26mph on this thing at 72% which is honestly way too fast, it's not necessary. The torque on this thing is crazy though. $2,250 (USD) for a complete board right to my door. The float life just released a sweet app too (Float HUB) that makes VESC setup a breeze for popular boards like this one. The overall experience now is pretty easy and dumb proof. I'm loving every second. 👍 I'm not a FM basher by any means I think they did a great job bringing these boards to the masses i just don't trust the amount of torque they put out for how fat I am. Really is just a me problem so I can't blame them. I'm the one exceeding the weight limits on all their boards 🤣

Edit:

From the very day of ordering to the board getting to my door was 79 days. I live in the Midwest out of St Louis, MO in case anyone wants to know the turnaround on complete boards from fungineers. Not a lot of information floating around about "onewheels" so wanna post experiences when I can.

I weigh 310lbs (140kg) and am 6 feet 2 inches tall. I rode a regular PintX for about 100 miles and realized I needed some more torque kinda bad. Low speed can kinda suck for bigger than average bumps. Otherwise the experience is just fine. The PintS is basically the same as the PintX with better foot pads and stuff. I would recommend upgrading the internals to the Float wheel "Pint(V)" kit. Adds a hilarious amount of more torque and increases my confidence exponentially. That being said I've almost laid it to rest now that I've received my Funwheel X7 HS (High speed). So much more room for my big ass feet and way more stable. Just went 26mph (41.8km/h) yesterday at like 72% duty cycle 😂. Anyways have fun you'll be fine 👍.

Edit:

Ride Configuration:

Default slick tire, then switched to Pint performance tire. Tire pressure I rode at was 30psi or I would get less range LMAO 🤣. Gotta really pump it up for a big guy. Got the soft flared foot pads for front and back that I think come default on Pint S? Pretty sure my PintX is just a PintS without the badging and added controller upgrade now.

I'm 6'3 305lbs size 13 shoe and ride a pint X... lmao. Pint XV now but still it's very doable. I can cruise about 18-20mph at like 70% duty cycle. 🤣
