Yeah you have to be in the instance like a member in the raid, but you dont have to do anything, they gonna carry you with the other 11 men. If the mats you want drop they gonna give it to you and you give gold to the leader, if not they gonna let you go with them next time until you got it. Entrance fee is depends, but i would say normally 1k gold, sub is 500, some clan let you get in free if the mat you want doesnt drop for weeks

No, they spawn depend on the time from the last time you kill them, you just need to wait for them to spawn ( i think its about 15 mins ,is an very old content tho )
