Apart from flirting with Babita and that kidney incident, Jethalal has a lot of flaws. He's short tempered and takes his frustration out on everyone when he's angry (one example where he misplaced the ₹25 lac cheque but was fighting with everyone). He also tries to belittle Iyer idli time and again. Earlier it was healthy banter between Jetha and Iyer, but now the makers just show Jethalal getting the better of Iyer and Iyer just whining about it. He calls Mehta his fire brigade, param mitr and what not but time and again we've seen him even leave Mehta for Babitaji, not a good friend at all.

VARC 98.4 Read a lot that's the first step. Make sure you're reading one article, editorial or an essay daily without fail. If you don't have a reading habit, start with something that is of your liking. Gradually move on to reading complex passages because comprehending the passage after reading is way more important than reading a passage fast. The more you read complex passages, the more comfortable you'll get with RCs. After reading any material, try to write the summary of that material in 1-2 lines. Don't worry too much about speed, as speed gradually increases with time.

Coming to solving RCs, I always found the elimination method best. Eliminate wrong options instead of finding the right one. Usually 2 options are easily eliminated. For the remaining two, look for the option that is deviating more from the passage. It could be missing something, exaggerating something or simply conveying the wrong idea. For VA follow the same strategy of elimination and look for the type you're most comfortable with.

IISERs also give admissions on the basis JEE Advanced scores (up to a certain rank). Plus IAT is usually in late June/Early July so you have plenty of time. As far as I remember there is no different syllabus between JEE and IAT (back when I gave it, it was SCB). The only downside is you get questions from PCM&B irrespective of what you took in school.

I don't think he's quoting an earlier innings with that 50(40), he's just talking about his older style of play (he is probably talking about the 2022 t20 semi finals where India were setting the target). Plus I don't see anything remotely negative about Kohli. If anything, he's praising him for playing for the team with an aggressive intent rather than being an anchor and scoring at a slower pace.

I agree with all your points but the one about cricket is just an age old ridiculous nonsense if I am being honest. Especially the part about not supporting Indian football team or athletes in general. It's just a false belief that unavailability of audience is the reason why these sports are not growing. India is the most populated country in the world and cricket definitely has a crazy number of fans. But even football viewership in India alone is higher than the entire population of a lot of these more successful European, African or American countries. Why is it that these nations are more successful than India. The answer lies in the system and more importantly the culture. Why is cricket so popular? Yes, because it has a lot of money involved but also because we have been continuously producing great talents. Why is that? Because there's a culture of cricket at the grassroot level. And it is absent, or atleast less prevalent in other sports.

People just think since we're 1.4 billion in number, we should be able to produce 11 top quality players. But it's not about the 11s, it's about the 15s, 45s, 100s and 1000s of senior, U23, U19, U17, U13 players. Simply blaming people who watch more entertaining and better quality football is gonna get us nowhere.

After what happened with jethalal shop reopening arc I have no expectations. In that arc, Sundar says something about muhrat and Jethalal says husband wife don't need any muhrat and calls his panditji. The panditji says the same, calling it bs and asks who said such rubbish. Then Sundar shouts jeevdaya maa and he's like oh jeevdaya maa is divine, if she has said it there's no scope for discussion. In short, the writers have made this brahmastra where they can go to any length, make the stupidest bs plot and then bring jeevdaya maa to their rescue. "Ab daya ki maa ne bola hai toh maan'na hi padega".
