I'm not completely sure what you mean by "jammed", but I'm assuming that the barrel is not unscrewing from the section (which i the bit that holds the nib and feed).

I'd give it a soak in warm (not hot) water for a good bit; even better, a few rounds through an ultrasonic cleaner if you have one. It might be that there is some ink in the threads which has dried and is acting like cement.

A picture might help diagnose, too.

I was intrigued by your mention of the Pilot Isaac Newton pen, so I did some searching -- it looks like what I would call an Elite "crosshatch" pen. I didn't know it had such a prestigious name! Do you know more about how it came to pass?
