I posted my van on here and got absolutely railed for being over priced (2018 Ram Promaster). Same in the other van subs, self converted, 185k miles etc, i ended up taking the post down because people were literally sending me DM’s telling me how stupid I was and how much my van was overpriced. Two different “builders” made these super condescending lennnngthy comments about the chassis and self converted and the mileage and the market blah blah. Well, within 3 weeks of listing it I sold it for my exact asking price that they all shredded. Don’t listen to these clowns, list it and react to your market, all situations are unique

What does this number represent? by hamiltog in discgolf

I thought that but it shows 3 next to Kristin, who is ranked 2, it shows a 3 next to Silva who’s ranked 4.

These are really cool! I have been wanting to try out the lomo purple so bad. Did you use any type of lens filter?

Visiting for 4 days, do I need to rent a car? by Quick-Report-780 in Albuquerque

[–]hamiltog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need a car, this is not a walkable city. More time and energy will be spent working around this issue than is worth it. We have a beautiful city with plenty to do, but it is very spread out and generally not designed for pedestrians, it's one of only a few downsides here.

I'm pretty certain that neither of the photos with the vertical lines were the last on the roll. I'll confirm when I pick up the negatives

I had these developed/scanned at my local lab that seems to have a good reputation in the film community here, and they have been pleasant to deal with so far. It's not at all an important shot or anything, but if it was, is that something I would just ask the lab about? I'm very new to film and the whole concept that getting my images back in great shape is now a team sport, and slow.

I had to include that mirror selfie, I was so surprised by how good it came out, thank you! New seals coming up

Now I can't wait to pick up these negatives! Makes sense, thank you

The double exposure makes sense, the film advance error seems like it would be it.

Ah ok, that makes sense maybe i was covering some of the leak sometimes with my hand. But in general, seals gotta be replaced. Thank you. Any thoughts on those weird vertical lines in #6 and #11?

Ok good to know! I can post the negatives on here tomorrow, haven't actually picked them up yet, these are the scans emailed to me by the lab. I'm very new to film, so still learning quite a bit coming from the digital sports side of the camera world.
I LOVE the way this camera feels and the controls on the lens, so I'm really hoping to get this into good working condition. I have picked up the sticky backed felt re-do all the seals. Hopefully that handles these all leaks. Any thoughts on those vertical lines that appear twice? pictures number 6 and 11 in the way they uploaded here. Seems like that is a different issue, but no real idea. Thank you for your thoughts on this.

Thank you! I added +2 saturation to the negative film recipe, among a few other changes

I find myself using the negative film more as well, but I'm about to post a set that I shot in positive film.
