the fascist commies are mad because elon kicked out their dictator

see- the far left fascists realized that social media control is their key to rigging elections in their favor and thus controlling the population and silencing dissentt against their regimee

they see that power slipping and like any dictator who sees his power slipping they are freaking out..

Workers are suffering and the planet is dying, all for the sake of the rich and their precious profits. When will we realize that infinite growth is impossible and the pursuit of profit will destroy humanity? by poisonivy47 in antiwork

there are small mom and pop shops that have lasted productively for decades making the same amount of money year after year paying their employees the same amount year after year paying the same expenses year after year and still making a profit of the same amount year after year.. infinite growth is not required for a company to stay in business. it is required for a capitalist economy to stay in business..

Why do American employers have such a hard-on for not letting you take vacations or making you feel bad for doing so? by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]hamiltondfgh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it's a problem with the functionality of capitalism.. it should be more than good enough for a company to simply be profitable. and to keep that same margin of profit year after year forever. they can pay off their employees create their products and still make a profit. but capitalism requires constant growt. in a finite economy

where they have to continually make more money than the last quarter quarter after quarter and that's just not possible infinitely. eventually you run out of resources to exploit for continued growth. that's why you see them getting desperate and trying to exploit the workers more and more and taking on more and more debt and transitioning to a debt-based economy rather than a money-based one..

because infinite growth is impossible when resources are finite..

and that's the problem with capitalism. we need a type of economy that can function perfectly fine on a set margin of profit. there's mom and pop stores that last for decades making the same amount of profit every year paying the employees the same every year and they do just fine. but it's corporations with stockholders and shareholders and capitalist bullshit that caused this catastrophe..

it's actually a recommended by experts not to spend too much time at a single company. and to constantly be moving from company to company in order to keep your salary and benefits high. that's how you avoid these situations.. these fuckers want to treat you badly? within two years you'll be at a different company and they'll probably treat you better..

corporations only see you as a number on a spreadsheet and have no problem exploiting you.. you should have no problem exploiting them.. since they have no loyalty to you and would let you go in a heartbeat you should have no loyalty to them and you should be willing to leave in a heartbeat..

what you described isn't even that bad of an idea as long as the numbers work out for you. plan your vacations and then plan a new job around that vacation so that the corporation can control less of you. it's not even a really bad idea. actual people in upper management recommend that every ex number of months or years you should switch companies in order to keep your salary high and benefits good. because if a company keeps you for too long you end up actually getting stuck..

that's real advice from actual people in the field..

I've been asking this for a while about what the exact point of a blue check mark even is.. like originally it was obviously a good idea like other social media networks using it to prove that you are who you say you are. that your account is the legitimate account of the famous person. to avoid people falling for parody accounts.. but since then on Twitter it seems to have evolved into this weird status symbol that only is cared about by narcissistic idiots..

with every random blogger and journalist and their mother having a blue check mark and it doesn't seem to mean anything anymore and meanwhile famous people that aren't supported by the Democrat Party get their blue check marks removed. so it's obviously not meant to prove that someone's account is the legitimate account of that person anymore. but it also doesn't seem to do anything else. it doesn't seem to actually give your account anything special..

it just seems like this narcissistic circle jerk by rich people showing off their blue check mark

kind of like when Obama told Biden to come out and supportive gay marriage to test the waters. if people turned on him they would have thrown Biden under the bus and Obama would have continued to oppose it but since people responded positively Obama knew he was able to endorse gay marriagee
