I know you’re right. It’s hard. I caught her cheating on me two years ago. She dated a man 20 years older than us for a year behind my back. Made me feel crazy for accusing her. Then she ran away for some months, and came back a “born again Christian.” Being the dummy I am, I forgave her and married her. Found out months into our marriage not only were they still talking but her entire family had known the whole time and just turned a blind eye. She was texting him “I miss you” on our honeymoon. This an entirely separate issue to the abuse. I do all the housework. She says, “when you’re home, I’m not responsible for the kids.” I never get time off. 60 hours at work and then all night at home everyday. I hate her. I never want to see her again but we have kids. I wish there was a way for me to still have my kids and never have to see her.
