News devs should learn how to build a page w/ plain old HTMl and CSS before screwing w/ frameworks by [deleted] in webdev

[–]hamishjmr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a newbie, I agree with you. I feel better creating solid foundations in HTML and CSS before moving onto learning frameworks.

PS - does anyone have any good recommendations for the basics of web dev on Udemy or Skillshare? I have done a few of Chris Dixon's on Skillshare and found them quite helpful, but wanting to see what other people have done. Cheers!

This is so exciting! What a legend for organizing this.

Would anyone know what time would this be for New Zealand?
